Movie Review :Bambitious
This movie is an Okey Oku Film (Oracle Production)
The films centers around a young lady Bambi (Belinda Effah)who has a boyfriend Frank (Buchi Franklin).
They finally break up but Frank wouldn't let Bambi go in his mind.
Bambi meets a dashing and rich Jerry (Daniel k Daniel)who wasted no time in proposing.
Meanwhile Frank tells Ifeoma (Indongesit Bruno)to tell her friend that nothing should happen to his baby to a suprised Bambi who was sure she wasn't pregnant.
On the day Jerry proposed Bambi felt nauseous, vomited and assumed she was pregnant.
She made Jerry break his premarital sex promise so as to rope him in.
Frank of course didn't accept that and put up a fight but was settled but never left as he later teamed up with Jerry's ex girlfriend Fumi Coker (Heķka Hadet).
Dr Ese ,Jerry's mum(Ebele Okaro) met her son and his wife to be Bambi she advised her be truthful her son about her past as it will help her future and present.The talk which affected Bambi who decides to open up to Jerry .
It was too late! Fumi already spilled after Frank revealed the baby saga to her.
The lovebirds really felt their separation and Jerry eventually went to make amends after a chat with Frank. Jerry was suprised to meet Fumi at Bambi's.He ignored her and went on his mission.
Fumi called Dr Ese who was at that time going through the test results of Bambi which revealed she was pregnant for Jerry and not Frank going by the term of the pregnancy. She was angry they broke 'the rules' but happy her son is a Man!
Frank got himself a Job and glad Bambi pushed him to be ambitious. He also sent back the money he collected from her.
And I really enjoyed Buchi Franklin 's acting. Seen him on A y ' s crib and Tinsel. This is his best I have seen so far.
All in all the movie is a good one !Precise and straight to the point!

The Co host on Moments with Mo on EbonylifeTv who also as her own show now THE MARCY PROJECT made this known when she was a guest on Highlites with Ik.
She loves Singapore because of her petite size as she easily gets her size there.
And Japan because she hasn't travelled that far and 'rolling' with the robots .Japan is also being considered as her honeymoon destination.
She also gave travelling tips being a frequent traveller like making sure you have your toiletries in your hand luggage, your electronic too as they sometimes develop wings.

Korede gave a good performance and brought gifts for the audience.
Dolapo on the other hand had gist for us .Her proposal from her fiancé ,Her flying experiences :The man that pee on himself (atole) lol and Mr Freedom who wanted to exit when the plane was in the air.And her new project called 'The Marcy Project'
And the games IK tried with his dance moves and Dolapo didn't do too bad either.

Hotel Majestic S1/105
This particular episode was emotional for me and I am sure it was for some other people that watched it.
Maja Emeni took the 100 lashes!
Dishonourable (Honourable )Edafe exchanged the traditional guava sticks for Koboko (a traditional name for whips /cane in Nigeria)
Maja left the Hotel early.Ivie tried calling him but he switched off his phone.His mum and brother Timi arrive the flogging arena tried talking him out of this but he didn't listen. Not even a word from Iye Mfon (I was happy to see her)
Even the elders asked why a Koboko be used but short man devil remote controlled Epa Agbon didn't have anything tangible to say . (how he go talk when he dey plan with dishonourable )
Timi made pleas to Honourable but all fell on deaf ears.Even a call to his Lawyer failed.
The Hotel Majestic staff all left to go to the arena. Ejiro stayed back but Jeme persuaded him to go but she didn't becsuse they were expecting a guest. Even Ivie initially refused to go but Ese convinced her. Deji and Epa John didn't go as well.
Honourable arrived the flogging arena did his pride talk, invited Ivie over to the table of elders The look Ivie and Maja shared, sharing PRICELESS!
The Hotel guest arrived and they check in.
The Flogging began!wailing!The oh!Ye!awwwww! rented the air.
The last 5 was counted down by all.
Maja Emeni is the man!He took his 100 lashes!He collapsed after wards (who wouldn't )
My personal ranting :
I hope Something is done to that crazy culture! It's repugnant and Babaric !Officer Tony should know but he won't talk especially as he is a boy boy for Honourable. Odion more knowledgeable than he is.
NEXT:The staff moody and everyone silent.Ivie is weeping uncontrollably. Her mum tells her to stop as her betrothed Honourable shouldn't see her weep for another man like that

Desperate housewives Africa
The story so far
Rhume Bello sucide begins the story.Mrs Benson (resident gbeborun)of Hibiscus lane discovered the incident. Shina and Funke with their troublesome children. She once left them for her hubby and he asked her never to do that again.
Kiki Omeli 'cutting shows ' with her fitness instructor .Her husband now suspects ,tells his mum though she tries to investigate but Kiki finds her way but seems mother in law has her plan again.
Ese de souza who is too much of a perfectionist ,even her husband and children slightly irritated.
Rhetta the bubbling babe her house got burnt mistakenly by Tare though she doesn't know all because of Larry the new neighbour who is on a mission. ..He broke into Mrs Akanni 's house.
Tare is Separated from her husband but has a daughter.
Esosa the new security chief likes Tare but because he lied to her she goes back to Larry (I feel he is using her )
Akin Rhume's son has a secret and his dad Deji restrains him from mixing and going out.
There is never a dull moment on Hibiscus lane!!
The Emerald S1/60
Dapo goes to see Ada.she continues with her sakara 'pride' towards him and mama Boyo had to intervene when she had negative things to say about the Duke family.She said the late Mr Duke set up the foundation. Sam comes in to tell Dapo of Daphne and his mum's situation. He leaves. Ada feels sorry for Daphne to the suprise of mama Boyo.The latter also suprised Daphne could take ill .
Dapo back home,Uncle Victor tells him how Daphne saves his mum's life.She gets a cuddle(her plan exactly )
Austin and his gang carry out the robbery .There was accidental discharge. Someone dies! (Killing wasn't part of the plan)
Uncle Victor warns the maid not to disclose the Edo elders visit to anyone and should they come back Dapo 's whereabouts shouldn't be disclosed.
Tina is booked to continue gracing Officer Tega 's bed.
Next :The nurse and Daphne talk of their plan and how it worked. Dapo asks about the plan.

Osahon with his drama as usual but Kelechi calms the situation. Hadiza is grateful.
Adesuwa invites Musa Philips to her home . she is on a seductress mode.
Grandma Pepple (Nne of life,over soji grandma)goes to invite Hadiza for her birthday party which she honours.
At Nne 's party Betty suprised to see her friend Hadiza.she knows Nne 's plan now
Hadiza drops the bombshell of her departure for a new job offer. She leaves, Kelechi runs after her .He couldn't bear her go, she confesses she is in love with him,The feeling is mutual!They KISS!!
Nne feeling bad Hadiza leaving not knowing lips have locked already.
Next :Hadiza still brings Ronke up for discussion with Kelechi.
Kelechi Skyping with Ronke,He sees someone wrapped in towel then his face.Her manager it is
Hotel Majestic S1 / 104
Jeffiong and Marvellous came up with a coded name for the weed *Pikin*meaning child.it is a pidgin word.
Maja makes his decision to accept his flogging known to his family which didn't go down well with them.His mum worried about the impact of his punishment.
Patti cries ,Ese notices and promises to keep her mouth sealed on what she knows. They hug.
Epa agbon not pleased with Maja ' s decision ,they think of a plan B.
Ese almost spilled as Ivie noticed she is absent minded. They discuss Timi and Maja.Ivie feels Maja strong and Timi harsh. (I no blame her jere).
Bene continues her tatafoo (gossip)she discovers plans to flog Maja and the place is being cleared for the event.Patti tells the hotel staff ,she vows to be there 'life and direct'everyone unhappy!
The lady staff get rid of their negative energy.Hope burns socks of Bobby, Ese burns letter to Timi that she wrote. Ivie wishes for strength for the one who gives her strength (awwwww )Patti and Marvellous agree men aren't worth their tears and sisi Patti is not ' carrying last 'on anything.
Aunty Ronke found drinking .Timi comes and they discuss Maja.
Ivie goes to see Maja in the car. (I loved this scene! Love was in the air)They share a short kiss.
Next :Maja is at flogging venue, elders sitter. Ivie arrives and Maja sees her.

Emerald S1/59
The Edo chiefs show up at the Duke's residence,once again they are dismissed by Victor.
Oga Tega really enjoyed Tina's Bedmatics. He is so bent on having more of those times with her.
Yomi visits Ada,he teases her of having feelings for him which she didn't find funny.
The Nurse finds out Lola hasn't been taking her pills. Victor tells him to include it in all her meals and drinks for effectiveness. Yomi concerned about his father's idea but he tells him that is his own worry.
Dapo meets them discussing they reminiscence about his childhood, Yomi shows his cousin what they are up too which didn't go down well with his dad .
Austin on a robbery assignment with his gang.
The cook gives Dapo feedback as to the company he is camouflaging to help Ada .The latter full of praises for her.
Mama Boyo happy Ada's business doing well and Ada happy as well . Mofe cold towards Ada..(sure is on Dapo Duke's matter )
Daphne hears of Dapo 's conversation of him not sleeping home for the night, she figures out a plan seeking for the help of the nurse. She is also aware he reports to Uncle Victor.
Next : Lola falls and so does Daphne (part of her plan)

Hotel Majestic S1/103
Hmm Sisi Patti angry with Timi 's attitude to her after all her Bedmatics haha hahaha. Timi kept poknosing in her conversation with Patrick her supposed betrothed .Patti didn't find it funny at all. She is pained! She even went down memory lane.
Hon Dafe enjoyed his lunch with Ivie his wife to be.She stylishly intercedes for Maja. According to Honourable Patti is disturbing his romance he he he he.
Ese was silent today she wasn't her bubbly self
Inspector Tony feels Maja should take his punishment and he would not meddle in village tradition he also does justice to the pepper soup Ejiro brought.
Sisi Patti dresses up too. No last carrying lol after Ivie was dolled up jealous somebody if you ask me.even Patrick had to tell her but admired her dressing anyway.
Honourable teases Maja and tells him not to send Ivie to come and plead for him.He is angry! He confronts her and tells her to stop meddling...He doesn't want Ivie /Alero to be indebted to Honourable for his sake
And the highlight for the day Maja (as expected) decided to take his 100 strokes!The call came in to a suprised Epa Agbon and Honourable .
Maja announces to his Family his willingness for the caning .His mum and brother think there's a way out even if he doesn't want to run away to Lagos . sell the hotel to RRC!!

Love brewing between Ada and Dapo even though Ada keeps denying the feeling especially as he has a fiancée Daphne. Mofe mama Boyo also likes Dapo too
Ada 's siblings engage in vices all in a bid to make a living.

This is one of my favourite African TV series even though I initially vexed that I had to watch it before windeck when it started .
Hotel Majestic is centered in Idara Benin .The Emeni family, children of Rogers Emeni being the major players in the hotel Jeme,Timi and Maja 'the Magician ' supported by their staff Epa John or King John who always has a wise saying to say,oga Deji the gardener,Marvellous the baker , sisi Patti aka One time Miss Hibiscus ,Hope Ejiro's cousin Jeffiong the London dreamer and Ese the innocent and funny girl.
Maja 's mum aunty Ronke also a member of Emeni family though engaged to another man now
The Long time guest Mrs Benson who can't her family members making the Majestic her home and family.
The Semaye family who have three children Uyi ,Eno and Ivie the eldest who is betrothed to Hon.Edafe .
Hon Edafe who wants to acquire Hotel Majestic and bring 'development 'to Idara at all costs and has used different tactics .
Officer Tony the policeman in Idara who molested both Maja and Ivie for the dead body found in Hotel Majestic but stopped and threw the case away when the murder couldn't be pinned on anybody after his last suspect Ivie was Honourable 's betrothed. In the village we have Bene and her bar ,Patrick the school teacher in love with Patricia and I ye Mfon an old woman who doesn't want RCC's development of Hon Dafe .
Maja and Ivie both in love but have partners in waiting the former having Isioma the city girl and Ivie Honourable Dafe.
