NEXT: Osahon seeks restraining order against Eve ,Yolar and Ebitimi meet,Ronke informs Tonye she is getting married to Ebitimi.

Lola still wants Ada to declare herself guilty,she eventually wanted to turn herself in but Dapo stopped her.
Victor warns Lola again to behave herself as he is in charge else she ends up in a mental home.
Waziri feels Dapo trying to shield his mum from going to jail.
Mofe and her mother eventually had a private conversation but nothing tangible came out from it.
Kofo complicates things when she testified she saw Ada push Daphne.
NEXT:Dr Allen contemplates taking her hands off the case.

Hotel Majestic 1/235

Maja invites Ivie to have breakfast with his family as he is tired of hiding his love,Jeme and Ejiro also show up together as a couple and 'only Timi waka come'(came alone).Jeme informs them she is going with Ejiro to Benin and Maja asks if she can handle it which she replies in the affirmative .
Proto informs his boss it's not ideal to visit Hotel Majestic but (Dis)honourable will not listen and eventually visits the hotel.
Patti calls for a meeting with some of the villagers and Timi didn't allow her to attend to them ,he took the opportunity to talk to them about selling to Tesio till (Dis)honourable shows up and disorganised the place,Patti couldn't hold it any longer and spilled about him behind the company RRC and in Edafe's usual style he denied.Bene made sure she pinched (Dis)honourable with her words.Later Edafe tells Patti to name her price and wonders why she is guarding her chest aferall he has seen it all,he made her know he has silenced people that stood in his way in the past.
Jeme and Ejiro cant have enough of each other and this hasn't created time for her to confess her sin.
Ivie's father came to the hotel to see Maja and know his intention  towards his daughter ,he talks tough like what any father will do and doesn't want to make the same mistake he did earlier.
Before (Dis)honourable leaves the hotel,he encounters Maja who  warns him about stepping foot in the hotel,Edafe used that opportunity to create a scene like he was innocent,Ivie had to hold Maja and Iye Mfon also stepped in.
NEXT:Jeme faints when she sees a stranger(could it be her father)

Today's surprise!Jeme killed the dead man!(i don't think i saw that coming)
Ejiro is at the reception eating as Jeme joins him and wonders why he is  out alone and though he was something she had done wrong,she teases him on bedmatics.
Marvellous chased Deji all over the hotel till he finally agreed to do the interview.
Alero doesn't believe Tony killed himself as he relates this feeling to Odion via phone call.
Ivie is so engrossed in making sense out of late officer Tony's notes that Maja had to complain ,he asked her to drop everything and let them spend time freely with each other.
Bene cannot get over Honourable owning RRC,Patti tells her she doesn't want to be involved in especially as she has a relationship with both Timi and Hon.Edafe ,Bene suggest they also start their own group  relying on Patti being popular among the people.
Timi tells Linus to convince the people to sell their lands,Jeffiondg shows up who knows Timi will only be nice if it relates to his house.
Iyen Mfon sure knows Jeffiong had a reason for bringing her ,he tells him to help himself as she cannot do much ,he later messed up again fraudulently with his advances towards Ese,An emotional side of Jeffiong was then revealed when he broke down into tears and we found out how is parents were murdered right in front of him.(aww poor Jeffiong)Ese and anyone will have no choice than to comfort him when he broke down into tears.
Ejiro wants Jeme to follow him to Benin,though she wasn't willing initially,she later agreed,she couldn't hold what she wanted to say anymore that she told Ejiro she killed his uncle though he was he was fast asleep.
NEXT:Timi is having a meeting with the villagers and (Dis)honourable shows up.Maja wonders what Edafe is doing on the hotel premises and warns him.

Movie Review:Victims

Omoyeni (Mercy Aigbe) a young lady who had a very tumultuous childhood end up finding love in the hands of sweet loving Deolu (Seun Akindele) but a devilish act and mistaken interpretation of the scene she finds on her arrival from work on a particular day makes her  kill her husband which now takes us into Omoyeni's past and understand why she committed the crime of murder at different times.
The movie raises  topics such as domestic violence  as Moyeni's father (Funsho Adeolu) was a serial wife beat his wife(Fathia Balogun),child trafficking by Doctor Koko(Saheed Balogun) who ran a baby factory.The acting was also okay as the lead actor played her role well.There was also a bit of suspense eg when Deolu's friends who were police officers came i thought they had come to arrest Moyeni but it was on a neutral ground.The evils of some domestic servant especially housemaids was brought to light.
Some parts in the  language of the dialogue of the movie didn't go down well with me .when someone is speaking a certain a language to you and you reply in another.The mixture of Yoruba and English language being used simultaneously in movies is now becoming a trend but it gets to a point that the effect becomes ugly.for instance, Christine the human rights lawyer who also is Yeni's lawyer (Juliet Ibrahim) asks her questions in English and she replies in Yoruba one will wonder how the communication flowed very well ,we didn't know the lawyer understood English till she spoke a line of Yoruba when she questioned one of the girls from the baby factory. This made the court scene even though looks okay could be confusing because that kind of mixture of languages can never happen,an interpreter will be needed and this ugly trend was caused by the inconsistency of the language used in the movie.The news casting could have been left at Yoruba alone,the newscaster for the English version was not nice!I also didn't really see the relevance of the DPO scene it didn't do any good to the movie per se .The subtitling would have been perfect till 'counsel' was spent 'council'
As expected Omoyeni's plea of insanity availed her and so she was sent to neuropsychatric home rather than jail.
The movie is one you will enjoy on the long run .

Ibrahim wonders why Baba acting like Hadiza going away for long and out of the country.
Alex was able to get Getty to come and see Jerry even though his alarm was false,Getty wonders why Jerry couldn't avoid the injection.
The nurse reports Adamu's tantrums while Alicia and Kelechi away.
Fr Anyagu notes Ebitimi giving was fraudulent and not sincere.

Lola is really dangerously mad !even the new maid acknowledged it.She strangled Ada and told her to confess she killed Daphne.
Dr Allen pleads with Dapo to confess that his mother killed Daphne as she can rely on insanity for her case especially she is all about winning,Dapo still reluctant and playing super hero.
Tega meets with Dr Allen and introduce Mofe as his daughter(you could feel the tension between the trio)
Victor caught Yomi trying to rub his safe,fired a gunshot that hit the wall,Victor wants Yomi to be back on his team.
Austin and Kemi show up at the Duke residence unceremoniously as Pappy Sam tries to send them out,
NEXT:The new maid at the station trying to confess what she saw when Daphne was hit.

Hotel Majestic 1/233

The one and only Sisi Bene of Hotel Majestic who always knows something

Odion reluctantly allowed Maja and Ivie join in the investigation,by the time Ejiro joined he was able to identify who Nelson was and with the search on the Internet that showed his picture as Ivie identified him as the dead man, it wasn't an easy pill for Ejiro to swallow as she stormed out of the office.Meanwhile Patti was eavesdropping and Jeffiong joined her but they were not caught.
Jeme insist she has to talk to Ejiro but Maja tells him to leave him alone.
Deji advise Jeffiong on how to deal with Ese,he swings into action by playing her super hero as Marvo and Patti feel he is a joke.The staff also discuss Ejiro's loss of 3 family members in a year
Ivie ask for copies of what officer Tony left behind that they discovered from the secret room,she reluctantly drops it.
Bene visits  Patti on RRC matter and the new company and how (Dis)honourable has been slow since his wife left ,she even feels Ivie is not his match as he needs a matured woman like her(sisi Bene just tell him ehn)Patti tells her cousin Honourable the owner of RRC.
(Dis)honourable Edafe goes to disturb Odion at the station but She was able to shut him up when she mentioned the attempted murder of Maja Emeni's life.
Abdul tries to get Deji to talk about his life but he didn't ,meanwhile Marvo was busy complaining of Deji's attitude and suddenly she took the rolling pin and off she went and by the time Deji saw her from afar ,he ran (you need to see that scene hahahahahahahahah)
Ivie goes through the papers and was so engrossed in it,she makes Maja realise the papers if understood holds the key to all the questions they have been asking.
NEXT:Ivie asks Odion if she found anything suspicious around Tony's corpse

Mofe informs Dapo she got him a lawyer,he pleads to use her phone to call Ada even though he wasn't meant to, she grants him the request.
Victor wasted no time telling Lola Dapo is in jail.
Ronke Allen, the lawyer arrives and pleads with Dapo to tell the truth about Daphne's murder but he refused despite her plea.
Tega doesn't like the idea Mofe is trying to get close to her mum but Mama Boyo tells him he cant keep them away from each other forever.
Tina mocks Yomi for already getting close to Ada,Yomi doesn't take her seriously and even finds her getting married a joke.
Yomi wants to break into his father's safe and calls Oiza for the password.
NEXT:Victor finds Yomi in his office in front of the safe.

The former doctor at the clinic is back and Getty is not happy about it when Alex informed her.The situation got bad when Jerry came visiting and they had to lie about his health,injection was given for a false pain and definitely the result will be bad.
Alicia and Kelechi leave the camp to meet with other doctors,he leaves Adamu in care of the nurse
Yolar gives Ebitimi a cheque from Otunba as he notes Ronke's influence on him.Ebitimi is to plan a mass with the reverend father to boost his campaign as a morally and spiritual man,he tells Tonye to help him with that who doesn't really like the hypocrisy and why her husband not content with what he has already.
Tochukwu volunteers to be a witness for Eve at the divorce proceedings as the two met when they dropped their children off at school.
NEXT:They have an emergency at the hospital,The priest is at the Rhodes and Ebitimi tells him he will build a stadium the priest mentioned.Alex informs Getty of the 'injection gone wrong'

Jeme ,Maja and Ejiro confirm uncle Tony's death.The circumstances of his death still not clear to Odion and even Maja.The trio arrive at the hotel and Timi notes the murder chapter as finally ended,Jeme warns him not to conclude like that.Ivie talks about her words to officer Tony how is end will be.
Jeffiong wants tips on what Ese's father will expect from him but she didn't tell,by the time he arrived his test was a funny+weird one,he tells Ese all is in her hands and she should know what she wants as per Jeffiong.
Different theories spin as per Tony's death at the hotel with Marvo and Patti as ring leaders,Ese ,Deji and Ivie cant come to terms with the latest theory.
Marvellous wants the interview at all cost that she forced Deji to take part but he refused to utter a word,Abdul had to end the interview.
(Dis)honourable arrives his sitting room to meet a quiet Winston and Proto,Bene arrives to give Edafe the news about Tony's death,he pretended like he knew nothing about it and even teased Bene by calling her radio Idara(but sisi Bene truly you have no rival on information carrying)
Ejiro ask Jeme to marry him (Yipee,abeg arrange better wedding show us,all the weddings so far have been scattered/stopped)
Odion tells Maja and Ivie of her last conversation with Tony,Jeme joins them and was able to lead them to the secret room Tony talked about.
NEXT:Odion and Maja trying to fix the puzzle of what they found in the room.

Doctor discourage Pappy Sam from telling Lola anything as she needs rest.Tega refuse to answer Mofe's question about the woman in the picture.
Ada is broken as Austin and Kemi cheer her up.Yomi visits and even though he says he wants to help ,he sure has ulterior motives.
Lola displays lunacy more than usual.Mofe calls a certain criminal lawyer to help Dapo.
Victor tells Pappy Sam he is now in charge and accuse them of being traitors.

Kelechi was able to get the welfare officer away so he could still have the boy around.Alicia feels it's not the right thing to do ,the two doctors discuss funding and Kelechi will get his clients in South Africa to donate.The nurse and the little boy Adamu tease Kelechi about a picture they saw on his phone.
Eve advise Hadiza to take things easy as she believes her sister shouldn't send the wrong signals to Imoh as per their relationship.
Hadiza informs her father of her trip to Calabar .Adesuwa ask if there will be a change of mind ,Hadiza replies in the negative .
NEXT:Jerry pulling showing some romantic gestures to Getty ,Ebitimi and Yolar celebrate(only God knows what these two men are up to again.)

Sergeant Tony is dead!
(Dis)honourable tells Tony the video recordings doesn't prove anything and wonders why Tony is actimg sanctimonious having betrayed his own relation Nelson and didn't care about Hope when she needed his help,the phone rang and dishonourable noticed Tony was recording the conversation,the two men struggle and evil Edafe won! he made the scene look like Tony had committed suicide(i was pained oooo ahanahan,i hope the writers just pacify us with something oo 3 people he has killed ,2 injured and still has knives for Maja and Ivie)
Patti and Marvo cant get over Ejiro and Jeme being together that they go about teasing Ejiro but Jeme keeps handling the situation well,(she has really chop liver ooo:bold)she even goes about asking Ese about her relationship with Jeffiong,volunteering to give Ese tips on 'her first time' ,moves to Ivie and discuss similar things till Timi comes to disrupt the conversation but not without Jeme letting him know he is not the only one that can 'do'.
Odion tells Maja the challenges they are facing in the Police force and why it's difficult to track Tony,she returns to the station and tells them Nosa  her colleague will be around .Ivie still feels Tony innocent and he has good intentions even though Maja thinks otherwise.When Odion arrived the station she called Tony's phone and noticed it was ringing around her.she was right!she found Tony hanged and dead.
Jeffiong not okay with Patti interfering in his affair with Ese and even warned her,Marvo is surprised and wants full gist.Ese informs Jeffiong her father will be visiting after he messed up his first task.
Jeme and Ejiro really enjoying their love until that phone call came from Odion.
(Dis)honourable feels somewhat uncomfortable,Proto ask to leave for the day ,Edafe smash the phone.
NEXT:Ejiro returns to the hotel quiet and sad,the atmosphere at Majestic once again is sad.Winston sees the scattered phone(he will sure recognise it's Hope's phone)

Movie Review: A Northern Affair

 Dr Manuel Quagraine (John Dumelo) gets a new nurse  Esaba Jomo (Josyln Dumas) to help him with his work in the rural area.The two medical practitioners fall in love with each other even when Dr Manuel tried denying the chemistry between them but as secrets are revealed their relationship is  threatened but true love conquered all
I fell in love with the movie first of all because of the location,major part of the movie was shot in the rural area and close to nature, life of rural dwellers etc the cameras used did justice to portray the beauty.
Like Most Leila Djansi movies she tries to shed lights on  social injustice especially on the female folk ,one can see this in the life of Esaba whose husband  Mark Jomo (Jon  Germain) had insecurities and took it out on his wife  by abusing her,The issue of health care in the rural area was also seen etc (from Sinking Sands,I sing of a well,Ties that bind,Poisoned bait that i have seen you will understand she never ignores social issue and you will find messages in all these her works)
The production design was very good,the scenes were not dragged,the originality of the story is also commendable (not a foreign copied storyline) ,it was not face paced like the majority of the romantic movies we are familiar with in the African movie industry.
 What i think like about the movie or could have been better hmmmmmmmmm  honestly nothing!personally i enjoyed everything about the movie as it was a breath of fresh air for me seeing a romantic movie like this.
Overall it's a pleasant movie!

Today was drama filled!
Ejiro and Jeme did 'it' and it was in the kitchen,typical Jeme was shy afterwards,she had to  hide when they heard footsteps.
Patti is surprised to see Ejiro in boxers and by the time the other members of staff showed up for breakfast she told them what she had seen earlier and trust Marvo to amplify the gist,Maja bringing out clothes from the fridge broke,it became too much for Ejiro that he sent everyone out of the kitchen but seems they didn't go far and by the time Jeme came out they all came back (hahahahhahhahaha,i couldn't stop laughing,the looks and comments on everyone' face) Jeme leaves and scheduled staff meeting for the next one hour.
Ese sees Tony again and even though he told her to keep quiet  she screamed which drew the attention of others.
During staff meeting Marvo and Patti couldn't stop their side talk and Jeme handled them well.
(Dis)honourable tells Winston to be bold like him,Proto arrives with info on sales of land in Idara and told him there is more,they leave for Feel goo bar where Timi was transacting his own business,Edafe confronts Timi but he is not moved,the battle line i drawn again.
Odion heads to the Hotel as she got a call (Dis)honourable still planning to strike again at Hotel Majestic when Tony called him .Odion tried insinuating Ejiro was hiding Tony but Jeme stepped in boldly to defend him.
The conversation between Tony and (Dis)honourable shed light on the dead man who now know as Nelson and what transpired from his arrival to his mysterious death,Tony cant believe Honourable didn't kill him.The banger was the events leading to Hope's death!sweet revelation!Tony recorded it all
NEXT:(Dis)honourable found out Tony recorded their conversation  as the phone rang!He began chasing him around the office.

Getty digging for info about her father,she asked so many questions on the picture that she concluded the man in the picture with her mum is her father.
 Hadiza video chat with Imoh,he suggest she visit Calabar.
NEXT:Hadiza decides to visit Calabar and she made this known to her father.Eve promise her daughter to make it up to her with fun times.

It's a sad time !
Daphne gives up the ghost and she incriminates Dapo by telling Tega he was responsible for her death.Victor is pleased with the latest development.Mofe  arrest Dapo after she got the news.
Victor sends Abike away and doesnt want to help her,she cannot believe he will be so wicked.
Pappy Sam wonder how they will break the news to Lola(silly woman,i hope she will feel better now awon iya aje dede*witch*,some women will just ruin things with their jealousy).Mama Boyo also sad about the news
Poor Ada and Dapo who thought they can now enjoy their love.
NEXT:Mofe stumbles on a picture and ask her father if the woman in it is her mother.

Hotel Majestic 1/229

Maja visits the police station to seek protection for the Hotel after the attack but she cannot do anything at the moment (one of the challenges of Nigerian police).Maja gets back to the hotel and tell his siblings they have to help themselves,Timi was not surprised with the feedback.The Emenis assemble the staff for a meeting and reached a decision that everyone will now stay in the hotel ,Marvellous is also interested in being resident now.
Winston acting weird and his father noticed,his reply made his father angry and calls his son a traitor.
Marvellous always want to appear in the newspaper after Patti informed her she also appeared in there,the former meets Abdul who would rather prefer a story featuring her with Deji not on the baking business.
The conversation at the kitchen made Ese  realise she had finished her saviour duties on Jeffo and by the time she found out he had exchanged the original contents,Ese made him know they were done.
Maja couldnt concentrate well on chatting with Ivie,he sure is overwhelmed by recent events.
Marvo refuse to 'settle' Jeffiong but eventually did as per their Bakery deals.
Jeme and Ejiro's passionate kiss(it was long overdue) and this time the feeling was mutual.
Tony calls Odion and let him know he has evidence but wants to still remain undercover
NEXT:Ese sees Tony again.(Dis)honourable now knows Timi is his rival in business,Tony snatches Timi's car and heads to the police station .Odion leaves for the hotel,Tony arrives at the police station

Movie Review:Taxi Driver

I was really excited when i heard about this movie especially as one of my favourite actors in Nollywood Odulade Adekola was in it,I felt he needed to feature in more English speaking movies(not like he's doing badly or Yoruba movies aren't cool but to me being stuck in just Yoruba movies was not okay)
Now to the movie:
Adigun (Femi Jacobs) comes to Lagos in search of greener pastures  using his late father's taxi cab aka Tom cruise  which is father's friend Baba Tee(Odulade Adekola) gives him and also teach and show him how to navigate Lagos.He also encounter Baba Mistura(Toyin Oshinaike),the chairman of the pack and ends up being the driver to Della (Ijeoma Grace Agu) who advised him to  ' shine his eyes' be smarter  .
Adigun discovers a lot of things as he begins his trade in Lagos from betrayal,,being smart and  lots of surprise revelations.The movie shows  you  a side  to 'Lagos hustle '
 Location:The taxi park was not well portrayed in the movie as what was used though might be a car park  but it would have been better if a taxi car park was used.
Subtitle:The subtitling of the movie in pidgin is not welcome at all!not all of us can read and understand pidgin and let's say if all Nigerians can what happens to someone from another African country watching.
 Language:The frequent use of the Yoruba language it depend on how one sees it,trying to encourage the use of our native languages so it's major use in the film or not a good one as it's meant to be an English movie.Adigun's thick Yoruba accent when he first arrived Lagos was also good as he portrayed that Oyo accent well,Baba Tee's stammering wasn't consistent.The killings in Adigun's room though like 4 people were shot,2 escaped 'ofetically' (by air,you know these things are believed to happen in Africa where one can vanish)
I enjoyed the race scene between Adigun and Bashar(Kelechi Udegbe) :One of the three mysterious men.There were some hilarious moments especially if you understand Yoruba you will enjoy it better(I am sure non Yoruba's will as well before i am being accused of ethnicity but in translation you can not get the meaning 100% )You will also enjoy the Saka Moments(Hafeez Oyetoro) who played the character 'Kakanfo'. who gave us a mixture of comic and action role.The cinematograph especially showing Lagos at night was also beautiful.Della also delivered on her role as a prostitute.
At the end Adigun was surprised with the revelations and somewhat had a clearer picture of his father's death ,he leaves Lagos and in company of the call girl Delia to Ibadan
The movie is directed  by Daniel Oriahi and co produced by Filmone Ltd,House 5 Production and Orbit Imagery.
The movie ' ko baje rara' not bad at all

Dapo and Ada arrive the Duke's residence(i refuse to call it  a mansion again ) not knowing they will be in for drama.
Lola confrontation with Daphne led to the latter collapsing!Lola is in no way remorseful,she even called Victor to tell him of what he has done  who was making out with his secretary.,he feigns his voice and informs the police of the incident.
Waziri informs Mofe who doubted but  a call to Dapo confirmed it,Tega comes in and he is also gets on the case.
Lola complicates matters when she robes Ada into the matter,Mofe invites Ada to the station to write a statement(Lola will be her own downfall,she really needs to be put away in a mental home)
Victor calls the hospital for updates,seems he is planning something.
NEXT:Tega at the hospital to get Daphne's part of the incident

More casualties brought in to the emergency centre(the diversification is commendable as it xrays one of the problems we are facing in the nation in terms of conflict and the loss of lives that follows) ,A little boy lost his mum and Kelechi felt so sorry for him that he decided to keep the boy but Alicia made him see reasons why it would be difficult.
 Getty is at the Pepples and she admits she feels more at home there,she also picks up an old picture of her mum and friends ,she discuss the picture while at table.
NEXT:Getty asks her uncle and grandma about her mum's friends(Getty is surely going to commence searching for her father).Kelechi and Alicia continue with the little boy custody argument.

Hotel Majestic 1/228

The goons arrive and embark on their plan in different steps.They put out the hotel lights and gen and went to search for Ivie but they didn't find her at the staff quarters .Meanwhile Jeffiong having body aches all over his body and complains,Deji tells him to stop whining,Jeffo decides to go for patrol unaware something strange was going on.He later met Ese who informed him  what she experienced.They both decide to go and put on the gen.
Tony also suspected something strange ,he peeped and saw the masked men ,he quickly went to hide ,they make their way in and started searching ,Tony after much confusion went out and shot in the air to alert the members of the hotel as he still wanted to remain undercover,the plan worked and Ese saw him as Jeffiong fell when he heard the gunshot while they were attempting to switch on the gen.
The goons escaped as Maja heroic as usual (i breathed a sign of relief when no one was hurt),Timi refused to jump(bros na only mouth you get:lily livered)Everyone in the hotel came out and they discussed the incident,Maja knew it was (dis)honourable at work.
The staff discuss the incident as Marvellous brags on how she would have saved the day(yimu:wriggling nose),Abdul has also put Mrs Benson's story in the newspaper.

King John leaves and he refuse to tell Maja why he killed the man even when Maja told his siblings.King John leaves the hotel as he whispers something into Jeme's ears as everyone bids him farewell and Timi tells him not to forget Timi E-money .Jeme and Ese cried.

Things are get interesting in Hotel Majestic!
King John told Maja and Ivie he murdered the dead man and told them they can hand him over to the police if they wish,the love bird couldn't digest what they heard(i couldn't too but then this is hotel majestic anything can happen and anybody can do anything)
Deji notes Jeffiong's exercise is all about his travelling plans.
Marvo and Patti decide to get King John's contact before he leaves so they can visit  and when Ese tries to say something Marvellous pounce on her with words,Jeffo tries to be a hero,but Marvo in her usual style mocks him,even Ejiro that mocked her for her plans to visit ,she yabs him back and they exchange words in their style.
Ivie's parents visit her and she is happy to see them,she informs them of what (Dis)honourable did to Nathaniel and his wife.Osagie and Efosa later visit their in -law and for the first time cut his bluff and returned the bride price as custom demands.
Abdul ask Patti and Marvo if they have an idea who Julius is but they reply was strange (hmm who is Julius ooooo hotel majestic and it's secrets)
(Dis)honourable that we know is already planning evil again and he asks Proto to be the one to get Maja and this time no mistakes!
Mrs Benson is calling Abdul Julius and with the little she said seems he was her secret lover.
Ivie and Maja about to get down (if only they know what Edafe is planning)
Oh Ese,she helped Jeffo rub his body and while she was at it her expression changed that Jeffo himself had to stop her.(winks her body did her gish gish*electric shock *)

Mama Boyo is going to fight for her home and not allow Tina take over her house.
Victor bundles Yomi out of his office.
NEXT:Daphne's mind is made up,she is aborting the pregnancy and not even Victor will stop her.

Hadiza visits the Pepple to look for Kelechi and tell them she is still in love with him.
Ibrahim doesn't still believe Alex that Adesuwa is trying to sabotage his company,Eve tells her brother it is a sensitive issue especially as their father has feeling for Adesuwa  and she acts opposite of what Alex says she is.
Getty back home and really wants to know who her father is.
Eve tries to tell their dad to see things from Hadiza's feelings and not just because Imoh is a perfect gentleman .

 Pappy Sam had to separate Victor and his nephew  fighting.
Once again Abeke threatens Lola but left before people came around.
Mofe and Mama Boyo congratulate Ada but aren't excited with Tina's announcement of marriage to Tega. Even Austin not okay with the marriage but Tina is all bent on getting married.
Ada stylishly calls Tina so he can have time to talk with his family.
NEXT:Dapo informs his mum Daphne leaving but she wants Victor out as well.

Maja tries to tell Ivie about the picture they have been looking for but she was more concerned about the text message that was sent to Winston's phone concerning his mum death,during the conversation between Ivie and Winston Honourable enters and the she had to drop the call.Honourable is not happy with the situation and tells Proto Ivie must go and others so Maja will not feel he has won,he tried to get the commissioner of police to transfer Odion all to no avail so he 's sticking with his 'usual plan'(Oga Hono must you kill people*rolling eyes*)
Ese and Patti amused at Jeffiong's pre marriage exercise as Patti is impressed with the test,Ese makes sure Jeffiong doesn't drop the bag.
Odion still feels Tony has a hand in Hope's death and trying to cover his tracks from it and the previous ones he was accused with.
Ejiro noticed foodstuff missing again and blames it on Mrs Benson this gave Ivie an avenue to discuss with Ese on Hope's death as she told her the old lady had predicted it,Ese  decides to go and meet her but Ivie wants to do it by herself.
Ivie finally listens to Maja on the picture and they are surprised King John had it especially as he denied knowing where it was,they later confirmed from Ese if it was the same man,she replied in the affirmative.
While Ivie was trying to talk to Mrs Benson,Abdul overheard the conversation and is now interested in Mrs Benson as well,Patti tells him all he will record from her is the wind(hahahahahaha) but while he tried talking to her again and snapped her picture she mentioned a name Julius(hmm interesting,Abdul has seen story to publish)
Tony is in the hotel and nobody knows!Mrs Benson saw him as she was making her way to the kitchen
King John finally leaving the hotel .

Hotel Majestic 1/225

The search party for Epa John began,he was eventually found and alive.Abdul notes anytime he comes to the hotel there is always  a story though he came because of what he found on the website.
Maja rescued Ivie and the  two were happy to be together again as they shared kisses hotel staff  and even Abdul were surprised to see her back,he tells Ese to lock the gate.
Dishonourable took over the wheels from his driver and drove by himself,he arrived there and he had also called Sergeant Odion to join him,by the time he arrived the gate was not opened for him and the questions Maja asked him ,the presence of the journalist hindered (Dis)honourable but he sure did pull some stunts to show himself.
Jeffiong is  to carry a bag on his back for one week as part of the process of seeking Ese's hand in marriage.Marvellous couldn't stop laughing.
Maja notice a picture that was missing in the reception in Jeme's office,she told him it was found with Uncle John.Ivie didn't get the last sms Maja sent so Winston must have seen it.
NEXT:Ivie calls Winston to apologise for the message ,his father comes in and overheard the conversation.Maja told Ivie the picture they were looking for was found in Uncle John's room.

Greg Odutayo's movie wins at Hollywood Film Festival

The CEO of Royal Roots  Communication Network Limited Greg Odutayo  won the award of Nollywood Director 2015 with his movie Beyond Blood at the Hollywood Film Festival.
The movie  is written by Debo Oluwatunminu and produced by Deborah Odutayo.it was shot in English,French,Yoruba and pidgin English  language with subtitles.
Some of the actors in the movie include Kehinde Bankole,Deyemi Okanlawon,Carol King,Shan George, Bimbo Manuel and a host of others.
The movie  according to the director is a story of love ,betrayal,hope and a desire to make positive change in the  society irrespective of personal trials  and tribulations.

The farmer guard finally leaves.Jerry is of the opinion that Getty will not like romantic gestures when Alex suggested it.
Hadiza finally confess to Imoh she is still in love with Kelechi.Imoh goes to the house though pretended he had to leave for another reason but had to tell the truth to Eve,Baba and Ibrahim and he accepts his fate.
Alex finds out about Adesuwa's action,she is not remorseful for the damage she is causing.
NEXT:Alex informs his father of Adesuwa's actions,Ibrahim confronts her but she lies as usual.

Jeme ask Maja her funny questions on love matters but Timi stops the conversation when he brings up uncle John's situation.Maja is checking his phone again.
Jeffo wonders how Ese will ever make a decision for herself quickly when she always has to consult her family members,she further reveals to Jeffo how some of her sister's suitors failed the test but this didn't scare him.
King John's kinsmen vow to support him even in his poor state of health and he still has to be the Angombazu,Timi notice the similarities between Epa John and his people:Resilience
(Dis)honourable tells Ivie he is been taken for a fool and the pregnancy test is to be conducted today,he steps out and this gave her an opportunity to quickly speak to Maja and tell him their itinerary,she noted she had been feigning the pregnancy symptoms so no bomboy (baby) on the way but didnt want Dishonourable to touch her. the time they left Winston read the message and part of it was that Edafe killed his wife(hmmm what will Winston do abi he will be the one to eventually kill his father?)
Super hero Maja borrows Timi's car to meet up with Ivie(no keke movement today) ,Timi obviously knew it's all for Ivie.
On the way to the hospital,Ivie's mum and sister stopped (Dis)honourable's car but he didn't give them the attention they needed and even insulted them.
Epa John is missing from his room,Timi complains about Jeme and Ejiro's exchange of love notes on the hotel website,Jeffo mails Ese's uncle again with lies.
Ivie raised her voice at honourable and this stopped him from entering the laboratory with her.Maja came around and the both hatched a plan to escape.it worked!

Alfred ponders on having to hide like a common criminal and his son not enjoying his wealth,notes Victor his brother his biggest mistake.
Dapo confronts Daphne on her lies but she made excuse for lying a she didn't want to loose Dapo.Lola comes to add pepper to injury by raising the paternity of the child.Daphne is told to vacate the house.
Nsan finally tells his dad he has cancer.
Abike notes Daphne in love with Dapo but Victor tells her to make her forget him.
NEXT:Dapo tells Victor to leave the house but the latter refuse and even dropped the bombshell of impregnating Daphne.

153 was a repeat when i watched
Getty is left in bed as Jerry joins her but he didn't touch her but she felt otherwise.
Nne sprained her leg as she was not pleased with Jonathan and Nnnena's reaction to her opinion.
Ibrahim still can't see beyond Adesuwa as he continues to sabotage his company unknown to him(I hope that farmer guard meets Alex or Jerry)
Hadiza collapse at the sight or is it sound of rain and instead if Imoh to resuscitate he was still busy admiring her beauty (na wa for you bros lover boy)
All efforts by Getty  to get Nne spill about her father's identity failed as she maintained Tonye will do it herself.
NEXT:Imoh goes to find out what's happening while Hadiza stays on the farm.Adesuwa sends the farm guard away.Jerry is serious about Getty and Alex willing to help woo her.

Ese informs Jeffiong she has to inform her family about the dream to confirm if she's right,she even used on of Epa John's proverbs to back it up.
Jeme thanks Ejiro for yesterday and apologise for the deleted post on her blog bla bla bla,she promises to put up another soon.(you could see the love in their eyes,directors and producers help them na)
King John doesn't like all the special attention he is getting,he sends Patti and Marvellous away  but wasnt too harsh with Ejiro and Ese.He later goes to the graveside where Jeme caught up with him as they both talk about the future.
(Dis)honourable continues to bully Ivie ,seize her drawing and makes her follow him to the meeting which he tells to begin to embrace as a wife of a politician.
Timi begins negotiating with the villagers on behalf of his company to acquire land in Idara.Patti disrupts but he was able to send her away and even stopped her from spilling about the real owner of RRC.Edafe also wants payment made to those that have sold to RRC to lure others to sell.
Marvellous complains of King John not appreciative of their gestures and reasons that going back to the weed business will not be a bad idea as John can be an excuse with Tony not being in town.
Ivie was able to convince Winston to make his phone availaible for calls to Maja though Winston was scared of the idea(when he knows his father a monster).The poor boy wonders why his father no more eager to send him back to school.
Ese finally agree to marry Jeffo but it is a process not as fast as Jeffo thinks.
Maja calls Ivie but she had already gone out with (Dis)honourable.He establishes he is speaking to Winston
And the bullying/abuse continued with dishonourable with Ivie and Winston.
NEXT:Ivie pleads to use Winston's phone .Dishonourable will not stop to talk to his in laws.Maja gives them a ride as he is seen confronting Edafe

Dapo paid attention to his mum about Daphne's lies.The wedding syndrome is affecting Tina that she made Tega propose to her by 'force'.
Mama Boyo informs Pappy Sam about his son's Nsang' s health.
Abike keeps telling Daphne they need not back out now and even says chairman(Victor) a better option compared to Dapo they are so carried away that they didn't know when Dapo got into the room.
Mofe is happy she has finally traced her mother's residence.

Movie Review:Soldier's Story

A young soldier Major Egan (Tope Tedela) has to leave his wife Labari (Adesua Etomi) a week after marriage for service to his fatherland.He was left for dead after an encounter with rebel soldiers till he was found by a young female scavenger Regina(Linda Ejiofor) alongside her friend Angela(Zainab Balogun).Regina ignores the risk involved and takes him home to nurse him to life.
Major Egan is taken for dead and all the needful to be done for  fallen soldiers completed.
Bossman (Daniel K Daniel) is the Lord of the Rebels of Bossanyanga Republic and calls the shots around the place,he engages young boys as soldiers and commits lots of atrocities but has a soft spot for Gina and did not take it likely when he found out that 'Dr Gina' was involved with an enemy and doing 'lover boy things' with him.
The acting,dialogue,effects,make up ,location.costume of the movie is very good.The littered corpse looked believable ,the gun shots and all.The form of speech used  by the actors especially by  the non Nigerians was also effective and it worked.The movie is sure a complex one to pull off but they succeeded.  The sounds from the gunshots also very good.The past and present well synced and
 with labels to shed more light.The movie also eased
tension with some hilarious conversation that will sure make you laugh. You will also find a touch of romance in the movie.The suspense,intrigue also very good,one  will be thrilled throughout the movie.
I found it a bit inappropriate to find a fridge in Gina's house going by what the place was meant to interpret,this i discovered during the farewell meal for Major Egan(I might be wrong though as i watched it in the cinemas so i cannot zoom to know what that object standing was) More lanterns could have been used in Gina's room especially at night and same goes for the indoor torture/combat scene.
Major Egan regains his memory,leaves for Lagos where he got lots of surprise revelations but didn't totally lost as a reunion with Gina saved the day.
The Movie is directed by Frankie Ogar and Produced by Martin Gbados
Overall Rating:Brilliant!

The Emenis discuss Epa John's health,Timi even feels Oga Deji took him to a quack,they were able to convince him to run tests in another hospital with Timi and Jeme going with him,by the time they arrived Jeme was speechless and couldn't talk to anyone.She later broke down in tears and Ejiro comforted her in his arms(Ejiro has been waiting for this kind of something hahahahahahahah)
Maja cant just stop thinking about Alero's safety that Timi nicknamed her his 'pretty damsel in distress'
(Dis)honourable didn't even wait for long before he started manifesting his tyrant nature,first he starts ordering Ivie around ,he tells her they will go for a walk together in the village,made her realise he is in charge ,didn't allow Eno to see Ivie.They later take their walk and stopped at Bimiji bar and a promise to Bene that her bar will be the next point of call.Ivie pleaded with the bar attendant who was reluctant to call Maja on phone but by the time he arrived they already left the place but she dropped a phone number which belongs to Winston.
During Winston and Ivie's conversation,Hope's name came up and Winston told Ivie what Mrs Benson said to her before she died that she will not make it back to school.
Ese tells Jeffiong what her mum said she should do to confirm if he's Mr Right and from her reaction after the dream seems no show for Jeffo.
While in bed,(Dis)honourable strangles Ivie for no reason.
NEXT(Dis)honourable continues to bully and threaten Ivie.

Movie Review:Head Gone

The movie is a comedy of errors and when one takes a closer look at the movie it exposes social ills,inefficiency of government parastatals using the Customs Service as mental institution as example.Greed,envy are also some the themes explored in the movie.
Baba Sandgross (Sunday Omobolanle aliasAluwe)psychiatric hospital bus driver foolishly stops on his way transporting mental patients to the Federal hospital as he not only gets distracted by hunger but the sight of a beautiful lady.His exit from the bus leaves no one to cater for the mentally deranged people he carried as almost all of them took their exit from the bus and mixed with sane people .Baba Sandgross who knows this isn't a good development decided alongside his colleague to pick sane unsuspecting  passengers for replacements.This resulted in so many errors but was later rectified .Each of the mad people belonged to different categories of insanity going by the diagnosis given so their reactions definitely will not be the same.
The movie commenced slowly and one could easily loose patience not knowing what is in store.I do not think it was appropriate for Dr Adia(IK) to refer to the medical profession as an industry.The custom officer stayed too long lying down on the expressway and that duration could have been shorter going by the nature of the road.Akpororo (,Chalie Cheng of Babatunde Diaries (Chen)are  some of the character that made me laugh so hard.I enjoyed his role .Every other character also acted well(i just choose to focus more on the newbies).The names of the characters also hilarious eg Nurse Mahogany,Kilimanjaro Sergent Robo etc
Head Gone goes beyond comedy it's a burlesque of our society especially areas we do not look into and take for granted especially as regards mental health.Like i always say,'Many are mad but few are roaming'.There are lots of people who are locked up for wrong reasons and they might never get aid to leave normal lives.
Overall I will rate the movie  a good one.

This series is one that i enjoyed so much because truthfully i cant say that now.They keep changing their actors anyhow by the time you getting familiar with the new set they change again and i hope this will be the last time or will take longer before anyone /majority will be replaced.
Story so far:Ada has regained her freedom,Dapo has proposed marriage .Victor has gotten through to Abike  who later goes to threaten Lola to stop disturbing Daphne.
Mofe wants her father Tega abandoned but her grandma disagrees.Victor flirting with the new maid.
Yomi visits Ada and continue to profess his love but she rejects his advances.Mofe continues to search for her mum and visits one of the address she got.
NEXT:Ada tells Yomi she is in love with Dapo(bros how many times you wan hear that?)

Epa John has multiple sclerosis and in usual Jeme style she 'googles 'and Deji also informs them how he has been helping with cocaine oil and that king John doesn't want his sickness public.
Ese suggests a visit to Ivie/Alero ,though Marvellous felt it wasn't necessary and Ivie has made a better choice by getting married to honourable.Ejiro notes that can't be true going by what they saw,Marvo later agrees as she will like to see how honourable's house looks like.The guests from king John village not asleep.Ejiro remarks he now knows why Epa John strong.Jeffiong continues with his dessert training.Ese later agrees to his marriage proposal but it will be after consulting with people she trust.
Epa Agbon couldn't stop 'misyarning' at honorable's wedding.When Patti went to talk to some of the villagers they also wonder why they were not invited to the wedding.
Jeffiong in preparation for his dessert journey ask Oga Deji if he knows anything that can sustain him for a long journey in place of water and asks if urine is okay and if he has tried it,Deji feels offended and chase him away.(Oga Deji no vex na as you be resident baba alagbo*herb maker*)
Odion and her colleague enter Tony's house and it shows that someone living there presently.
Timi continues to make advances towards Patti ,he claims they are good for each other but Patti doesn't believe him at all.
Jeme couldn't hold back the tears when she saw Epa John pass and the staff ,John's kinsmen now know he is sick.Epa John not pleased with this development and blames Deji who said it was for his good.
Ivie's family members bid her farewell and offer her words of advice,she cannot stop crying!they all leave .Winston came in and saw his 'stepmother' not happy.
The moment finally arrives when (Dis)honourable can make love to Ivie,as he touches her she throws up!(could she be pregnant or otherwise)
NEXT:The notes passing/secret meeting as started with Ivie and Maja.(Dis)honourable notes Ivie will conduct a pregnancy test.

Alex and Getty get drunk as the latter falls asleep. Lauretta brings Kelechi's topic up with her aunt Hadiza who admits she is in still in love with him.
Otunba seems to taken by Ronke,she reminds Ebitimi to fulfil his part of their agreement as she can mess his plan up with Otunba.
Ibrahim feels bad for his utterance on Hadiza /Imoh relationship,Adesuwa urge him not to feel bad,he later reminds her of his marriage proposal and she accepts.
Tonye takes her leave from the meeting venue as the priest offers to accompany her.Agnes not comfortable with it.
NEXT: The priest praise Tonye for being a good woman&tell Ebitimi he is a lucky man,Ebitimi gives Tonye a peck.

Movie Review:Code Of Silence

A young lady Adanma(Makida Moka) was picked up by strange men who pretended to be policemen and was taken to their boss  a wealthy politician  Chief Arthur(Koffi Adjorlo) on her way going home where she was raped and after drop off chief's best aide Banigo Jack (Patrick Nnamani)'topped' up the rape.
Adanma couldn't bear the shame and it took a while for her to break 'the code of silence' but as expected in our African society the disclosure of rape was treated like a taboo and a stigma and it was difficult to prosecute or even arrest the offenders.Family members Uncle Gabe(Amaechi Munagor)and
Pius(Alex Anyalogu) stood in the way as some of them saw it as a means to enrich themselves from Chief Arthur's Largesse but  Mama Chuks(Patience Ozokwor) who is Adanma's mum,her brother Chuks Adanma's brother (Shawn Faqua) Chris her boyfriend(Ben Lugo Touiton), Amaka her aunt(Ini Edo) Mira the lawyer(Omoni Oboli) and her friend from school were able to see that justice was done and stand by Adamma even though it was not an easy
road.
Not so good: The party /get together at the end one can't tell what it was really for so we just say it's a celebration of whatever we assume. I found Adanma bathing with a hair net rather than a shower cap not too ideal.for law students in university the attire is mostly white &black that is worn in Nigerian universities and Chris who is supposed to be a law student was hardly seen in it.The scene where Chief Arthur's opponent was shown on Tv could have been better.
Good:You have to love the characters Mama Chuks and Uncle Gabe those two veterans showed they have not been long in Nollywood for nothing!their scenes together were very good. Mama chuks also in played her mothe's role well (the 'ewoos and chimoos' that express dissatisfaction  aThe campaign and awareness of breaking the silence on rape and making people speak up is commendable.Family planning education was also addressed in the movie.Location ,acting also good.
Chief Arthur was finally nailed by Banigo as he refused to take the fall for him which eventually led to his arrest,Chris and Adanma got married........

Movie Review:Four Crooks and a Rookie

A  gang of robbers  Blaze(Micheal Uchegbu),Cyborg (Ani Iyoho),Lune(Shawn Faqua),Kila(Ceasar-Ume Ezeoke) and Jazz(Ugo Maduka) well disguised as regular people enter a bank to heist and they almost succeeded unhindered till the policemen who initially trailed a beautiful lady to the bank suspected something fishy was going on inside the banking hall and called for back up.The gang having noticed the scenario had changed turned the event into an hostage.
Negotiations began  between the police and the thieves but lives of both the hostages and members
of the gang were lost in the process.

Let me start with  what was not so good:Some parts of the shooting scene eg the one from the roof looked kind of animated,same goes for the opening of the vault(the special effects could have been better),there was no guard stationed at the entrance of the bank (even though in reality their presence wouldn't have changed anything as per the robbery)
The good and beautiful:The acting by everyone was well done!you could feel the energy and passion put into interpretation of the roles especially by the robbers.The news casting was good,it looked real and could  pass for when you watching Channels news(our No1 News Channel in Nigeria).The location ,necessary bodies were assembled for a that type of event (Police,Traffic officials ,fire service,media etc).The scenes were well connected even when flashbacks were involved and scenes were not dragged.
The Police were able to turn the gang against themselves but Cyborg and Lune made it out but were eventually killed in a gun battle with the police.
The movie also tries to celebrate the Nigerian Police Force and talks about the evils of unemployment especially among the youths in the society.
I will rate the movie Very Good.

Ivie and her sister talk about marriage as Ivie is obviously not happy,(Dis)honourable shows up and starts barking and accusing Ivie of initiating a rendezvous with Maja,Ivie told him his allegation was false but he wouldn't listen.He calls Ivie's father to move the wedding date forward.
Partick gives Maja direction on how to reach Nathaniel.
Patti is not falling for Timi's antics of them becoming a couple ,she even made him realise she knows of his affair with Isioma and that anything they are doing will be strictly business(Patti na so jere ,no be only Timi waka come with sense)
Jeffiong creates a scene when he refuse to take water when he was coughing and when he was fasting he said he was on water fast (eeo Jeffo i hail oo)
Ivie is not happy on her wedding day ,when her father comes in she tells him she will prefer another outfit rather the one that was made for the occasion,he has non problem with it especially as it is her day.
Jeme and Timi flash back memories with Uncle John and note he has been very influential and part of their live.Jeme later went to meet him and told him to go back to their people as they will manage without him.Meanwhile Deji was conversing with him before Jeme came.
Jeffo is ready for dessert trip to Europe as he informs Sylvanus he will arrange for first part of the payment.((Jeffo are you sure ?)
Nathaniel meets with Maja and tells him of how (Dis)honourable castrated him and got him paralysed as well and probably killed his wife as he told the world she died of mysterious malaria.Maja tells him someone (Dis)honourable about to take away someone he loves and even though he knew Edafe was wicked,what he heard was extreme.Nathaniel advise him to fight for Ivie.
Ese went to visit Ivie before her wedding and gives her gist on Jeffiong,King John and thankful for the bracelet she was given.
At the wedding ceremony ,(Dis)honourable arrives ,acted pompous to the elders and Ivie's father had to plead with them.Epa Agbon  crashed the wedding but he came in handy just to represent part of the elders of (Dis)honourable's family.
Back at the hotel,Maja arrives and Ese gives him Ivie's message and the news of her wedding already taking place,Maja decides to leave but Ejiro and Jeffiong stop him(but wait Maja what would you have done,bros dey cool down)
Deji informs the Emenis Epa is dying.
NEXT:Ivie is finally and painfully Mrs Uvoro,Jeme is in tears as she reads about Epa John's ailment,the hotel staff also sad.Ivis and her sister  lament  as they talk about her predicament.

Oluwasola Laleye set to turn out movie

 The movie is titled Ile Owu (jealousy comb) .It is  about a jealous wife ,who fights every woman she suspects of having an affair with her husband and with her attitude  but by the time she realised her husband was every man's dream it was too late.The movie is produced by Oluwasola  who is a multilingual actress ,born in Kaduna state , a native of Ondo state and resides in Lagos Nigeria.
She has acted in Yoruba,Hausa and English  movies &TV soaps like Superstory(ITOHAN),The Calabash.Ojule kefa,Al'amuran iyali,Arewa African kitchen show among others .Ile Owu is her first attempt at producing a movie and will be released soon. it is  directed by Kenny Lanre.
