 Another set of people died again The Kialas (Greg and Pedro's parents)

Joel is now in New York city and he is lucky to have found a good friend in Marcelo who is really nice to him.He also met Djamila though their meeting was short lived as she was illegal and had to be repatriated back to Angola,Joel was pained but Marcelo was there to save him from destroying
himself.

Roberto hasn't stopped drinking!
Ivo is now married to another lady.Sarah is still mad at her mum for separating her from Greg. Everyone is now grown up!Bianca and Greg now married!They also run a sport outfit company together.(They look good together and wasn't too surprised they are together)
Another surprise was Carlos and Vanessa,they even have children together. (I was thinking Vanessa will be with Pedro)

Joel is really getting beautiful opportunities.....

Celso has also stepped up.he now has a barber's shop

Deputy  Walter is still funny as ever with his philosophy.even Maria is tired!

Movie Review:Love is in the Hair

Johnny aka Twelve fingers(Imeh Bishop) leaves for Lagos  for greener pastures to work with his friend Raymond (Uti Nwachukwu)  as a  stylist  leaving behind his troublesome girlfriend Constance(Toyin Aimakhu).
On arriving Lagos ,TF starts to perform magic on the hair of the ladies and also falls in love with his neighbour Doreen (Omotu Bissong) who is doesn't belong to his league,he is so worried not being able to have a chance with her and with the help of Jaga(Okey Bakassi) they visit a love doctor who demands for the hair of the lady,foolishly TF rather than cut the original hair of Doreen gets her weave-on .Though he lost out with Doreen,his mistake and Jaga's envy brought him true love with Rani (Vani Viyas) .

The movie is a simple one,Bollywood flavour infused the dance,love etc and .Johnny as usual doing what he is known for  comedy as he seems to be the only comedian in the movie ,the other comedians on board the film were not in their comic zone but they didn't do badly with their roles.

Love is in the hair was shot in both India and Nigeria.It's a production from the stables of Royal Arts Academy supported by Africamagic.The story by Rita Onwurah,produced by Emem Isong Misodi.It is directed by Ayana Saijnders&Emem Isong.

Movie Review :Surule're:Patience Pays

Arinze (Seun Ajayi) works with a Company ,his boss Brume (Gregory Ojefua) makes life a living hell not only for him but his fellow colleagues,but turns Arinze to a deadbeat.The ankara seller (Rita Dominic),his landlady (Kemi 'lala' Akindoju) and the Pharmacist (Eyinma Nwigwe) all after him to pay his debt.
A meeting with Omonigho(Beverely Naya) which was that of a mistaken identity  turned things around for Arinze as he got confidence,luck and love.

This movie is one you will enjoy and laugh a lot.Kudos
 should also be given to the make up artist who did justice to Arinze's Landlady(who also acted as his colleague Beauty at the office )and Mama Akara's makeup.The Character Brume got into character very well because he really played the annoying boss very well.The flow of the movie linking present to past then back to the present was good .The suspense too very good,one will never see it coming.Kylie Stevens Adedoyin(Tope Tedela ) also joined the list of those who brought comic to the movie.In short  almost everyone did justice to their role except the Baba Ijebu who was talking when Arinze and the Pharmacist were fighting with the snake in the the latter doing his snake in the monkey shadow moves...Baba Ijebu no try with his 'waka pass role'

Cinematic techniques employed is a very good one!

Surule'ere is one movie you will enjoy,it's original,fresh (not looking/similar to any movie you have watched before....no copy copy).It has teaches the lesson that patience really pays though a very difficult process.

The movie is written by Richard Odilu, directed by Mildred Okwo and Produced by Rita Dominic and Mildred Okwo . It is supported by Africamgic.

So it happens that someone else died again in the series this week!Laura Kapala.She happens to be related to Roberto  who just lost his daughter Nzola.Silly Bianca who was on her mission to make sure Joel left Santa Agnes by force contributed to Laura's death as she didn't relay the message to poor Joel early enough maybe his mother would have survived!
Professor Magharita now has William as her boy by helping him with extra lessons and bedroom activities  hmmmmm.she even told him to do what my people call "pemi loruko ko fe ma ni irun mu" call me by name though i am older than you.She surely as a plan!
The Highlight of the week,Finally Gregorio was caught and Sarah's mother now know her daughter involved with Cocaine (Watching those scenes of Sarah being foolish and trafficking for Greg gave me goose bumps as a mum...our children will not associate with bad company ooo by GOD's grace...leave me let me 'cabash' abeg.
What will happen next week as Joel has now been expelled from Santa Agnes,Djamila now in Luwanda....

Movie Review:Couple of days

Three couples Cynthia and Jude(Lilian Esoro &Eyinma Nwigwe),Nina and Don (Adesuwa Etomi&Okey Uzoeshi),Joke and Lanre(Kiki Omeli&Ademola Adedoyin) decide to go on a mini vacation in Ibadan at Jude's country home.Nina and Don seems to be the happiest/perfect of the couples but one will later find out that forgiveness was key with them.
If you have seen couples on vacation movies you can guess very well that something must happen while on vacation and this movie is not an exception,there was purging of emotions,breakup,makeup and lots of fun while on holiday
I must commend the movie's cinematography,exposition of the tourist places that exist in the city of Ibadan i remember someone at my back saying 'Ibadan naa ma tin ta biobio(Ibadan not doing badly..I hope i tried with my translation) ,Falz really did well with his role Odewale the gate man,he added that flavour the movie needed to make it different a bit.
Ehenhen,(the part i don't like but i must also 'yarn ' talk) Besides the vacay story that most movies are now using too much,Cynthia's make up na elelele oo...was kind of too much and you could see it staining the sofa when she was in tears.The character Cynthia also needs to change her style of vexing in movies,i have seen her in two different series that are recent and nothing changed,i am reffering to the scene she was about to fight Joke,even the lady beside me had to say this is her same reaction is so so &so series(just saying) but she is not doing badly as an actress
The movie's ending could be a bit confusing if you do not wait till the very end and be curious just like i was.A sort of animation was shown to conclude the movie  by the side while cast and crew list was been shown and if it is what is truly is I guess the couples lived happily ever after.
The movie is Produced by Ayo Orunmuyi and directed by Tolu Awobiyi.
Okay it is that i wil give the movie in total.

Movie Review :Diary of a Lagos girl

Abimbola aka Bim (Dolapo Oni) is a Lagos girl that has the belief that her appearance will attract her Mr Right,she also has a standard he must meet alongside being GOD fearing.She has also has a nightmare that hunts her that she will grow old as a  spinster.

Bim's other friends Shola Olaiya(Adunni Ade) who seems to be closer to her than their other friend Bola(Linda Ejiofor).At a friend's wedding reception,Bim comes across two different guys Timi(Oc Ukeje)  and Ife (Alexx Ekubo).By their appearance,Ife fits perfectly into Bim's type of guy.
Back at Bim's fellowship the hostess Mama Shayo(Liz Ameye) gave them an exaltation of how she met her Mr Right (Paul Adams),a very funny way of meeting that left not only the fellowship members found funny but also will the audience.
The sign exaltation spurred Bim more and jokingly but seriously,she went into an agreement prayer with Shola and garri (Cassava Flour ) has to be connected to the sign.

As expected Bim and Ife hit it but somehow Timi was back in the picture though he was not her Mr Right,fate,destiny and her agreement prayer took charge and changed things.

The movie Xrays the fake lifestyles and so called hustle of some people in Lagos eg living above their means,Aristoism(having sugar daddies) to mention a few

Not Good:At the club ,the pipe the guy Bola wanted to use to get back/level with Bim didn't emit smoke....what kind of pipe is that?Timi talked about taking okada(motorcycle) with Bim but we ended up seeing them in the bus.....Bola telling us she wants Bim's naked pictures but ended up showing Shola another kind of picture though it still served the purpose of implication...

Good:The movie brought laughter eg When Ife got her first invite for a date,the Alleluia Chorus that came up just gave a very good effect,one will also find some other scenes funny as well.The twist in Bim's birthday gift..and what I loved as well was the spiritual/inspirational and moral  undertone the movie  has

Generally acting,storyline,suspense good, the cinematography okay.

Diary of a Lagos Girl is written and directed by Jumoke Olatunde ,produced by Nike Erinle

All in all will rate the movie good!!

The Nzola character is dead!she was raped before she eventually gave up the ghost by those silly and wicked drug dealers Greg and co went to do their dirty deals with ,to think she was out  to help the needy...so sad.
The Cabral family are in agony! Joel and his theory of calming ...(Djamila must come up always  hehehehe)
And what could Bianca plan for Joel again to send him out of Santa Agnes?
Deputy Walter the hippest wanna be daddy..that man is sure funny.
The new week will surely have more drama in stock.
We are opening our eyes wide....

ISIBAYA:(Voice over in English and Pidgin)

So this is the latest soapie that has caught my attention and loving .I found out it had actually been airing on another channel but the original language not in English.This what i love,when different series go beyond the country of origin.
Isibaya is a story of love ,betrayal ,wealth and power.The battle is between the Zungus and Ndoluvs on who is supreme win transportation matters and the Thukela Valley area.Acting,location,cinematography all on point.
I already see the love between Thandeka and Sbu.....
The voice over is done in both English and Pidgin  while some of my fellow Tv series lover do not like the idea of the use of pidgin,some people(just like me) love it.
