Hush S1:18&19

Bem suspects Fola is up to something especially after he found him in the secret room ,he sends one of his thugs to keep a close eye on the warden Benson and Fola .He(Bem) later make the warden know he has been watching them and a warden remains a warden for life.

Tunde Baker assumes campaign manger for Arinola and Oye accepts even if she doesn't like the idea.

Tes is introduced to the House of Tsenogu staff and Koko was just too shocked when she realised he (Tess) is Bem's son while he is delighted as this will afford him more time to spend with Koko .

Arin's maital status brought to the limelight as Chief Lasisi suggests she gets a man.

Adze moves into Vina's apartment after his father sent him packing.he also feels guilty for letting the App he developed with Billz out in the public especially after he got an offer on it.

Fola is disappointed he was not nominated by the head servant and plans to change what is contained in the envelope.

Ike begs his mother not to leave after she was angry about the resolution of Koko's matter.

Arin gets a notification to attend the reading of the Will of Gerald Idongesit.

Tess puts a call through to his mystery  business partner that they are back in business ....(This his kain business sef....probably he is into marijuana)

Jikulumessu:The Ultimatum and discoveries

Ivo made sure he got hold of Djemila before dinner.He told her what has been going on and she was not pleased and was not joining Ivo in his lies ,he pleaded with her so she gave him a 48 hours ultimatum to make things right.

Priscilla is really in love with Nuno or why would she pick up his phone and trace him when Bianca called him?She found out Nuno was 'servicing' his boss and was so dissappointed that she could not even tell Gerson who gave her a ride.

Soraia had to tell her family she was suspended from Santa Agnes but still lied about Magharita's business but shifted the attention on Joel's return to Angola,Bianca is interested and she plans to use Djemila to achieve her aim of sending Joel out of Angola

Bruno found out the woman he loved from Dieji is his cousin's 'wife' Nayr!You could see the heartbreak all over his face.

Roberto sure knows why and who wants him out of Santa Agnes.

Ruth and her aproko mission!She wants to be friends with Vanessa  though Ivo and Bruno told her to run it by Joel she feels it is not necessary and trust Bianca who has plans to make use of the situation for spying.

Mr Loca notice Paulo's affection for his wife but she notes it's just a student/teacher affection nothing more.

Lui also mentioned his encounter with Pedro Kiala who is also in the criminal investigation  field.

Nuno is to drive Vanessa to Joel's residence and search the house .....

Will Nayr confess to Gerson?And I hope Vanessa's visit is botched else..... but we get more drama and that's why we watch

Jikulumessu:Will Ivo be found out?

Ivo succeeded in missing the concert Joel put together for Djemila but unknown to him his son planning another !He is very willing to attend this and I want to see how he will scale through.

Vanessa continues to be Bianca's lap dog by finding out information about Joel and Claudia and couldn't get much.

 Claudia goes on a date with Erricson Leo and drugged his drink unknown to him.

Priscillia and Nuno now 'bed mates" (I wonder what Bianca will do if she finds out her 'thing' is being shared)

Joel assures his Uncle things will be fine at Santa Agnes.

After series of disturbance,Djemila and Joel kiss!

Gerson and Joel meet again ,Nayr's heart skipped when Priscilla gave her the gist.


Maria demand an explanation from Soraia for hindering Roberto's progress but she couldn't say much to her.Meanwhile Soraia never told her family members she was suspended until William told Greg so he could find if she told them the real truth behind her suspension.

Elena and Rui  are back from London.Elena figures a way out to bring  their daughter Sarah Paca back to Angola,she approaches Greg with one of Sarah's work and he seem to like it to consider putting it in his luxury goods catalogue an idea Bianca not pleased with.

Hush: S1-16&17

Tess takes the fall for his brother Adze and he is  sent packing!Bem didn't even allow Adze give him a lift.
Ike makes his mum realise it is Koko he loves and wants to marry and to solve the problem at hand his mum should apologise to her or she leaves his house.

Alhaji Blow visit Arin and advise her on her relationship with Chief Lasisi and tell her to be firm with him,Chief Lasisi later shows up and request a new campaign manager.Tunde Baker  to replace Oye.Arin later agree to the proposal and plan to compensate Oye.

Sule is very sure Adze is in trouble with the way Bem stormed out of the office(he describes it like Zangbeto(a masquerade that is of Badagry origin ) and as usual Sule gave us that which will make you laugh,he teases Vina to go buy her boo bae a coffin and along with some members of staff,they take a bet on Adze's fate.

The warden agrees to open the head servant's note but they need to seal it back with his ring ,Fola promise to get it.

Fola meets with Bem and accuse him of betrayal because he supports Arin,Bem told him he couldn't give updates as he no longer works for Arin, a hitch Fola caused.


Adze confess to his father about the marijuana,before the confession Bem ask his son about his affair with Vina and warns him not to mix business with pleasure.Sule who thought he lost the bet now the winner as he ask for refund.

Tes calls Koko who is not willing to hang out with him again after she made up with Ike.Meanwhile it seems Tse also has something up his sleeves that has to do with his father.

Bem stylishly apologise ask Tes to come back home.

Fola is caught in the process of trying to get headservant ring

HUSH-S1:11-15(Highlights)

Bem's older son  Tesimi we were made to understand was a drug addict before and just got back from rehab and one of the calls he received seems strange.
 

Vina shared Adze's secret App but she was able to get him to forgive her with some TLC.
Arin apologise to Alhaji Blow and promise to make Ruffy chairman of their local government once she becomes governor,he kept to his word as he showed up at the party secetariat during the meeting with his 'eru ikus' and doused the rumours that he was defecting to another  political party,he endorses Arin as well.

Ruffy wants to date Oye ,she agrees but just a temporary thing to achieve her aim but he doesn't have an idea as she is playing along well.

Bem confronts Arin on the marriage issue and she was angry about it and things got worse when she saw Fola at Ben's office.

Fola tries to woo Dehinde to his side but he failed as he rather joined Arin to be her running mate despite Fola' s very tempting offer.

Koko decides to honour Tesimi's invitation and she sure had a nice time and the outing ended with a kiss.  Oye noticed her sister's high spirit.

Ike is not pleased with the way his mum's treatment to Koko,the woman embarrassed her and even took the house keys from her when she came to prepare food at his place  and he made it known to her .

Sule my dearest sure gave us comedy as well singing 'Oyinbo toh se pencil lo shey eraser cocodee......' never a dull moment with Sule.

Fola is doing all to put Ben in a tight corner and it seems he is really about to succeeded as the warden of their brotherhood has agreed to his plan after eavesdropping on the conversation of  the 'No 2 men'

Bem is not impressed with Adze's App for House of Tsenogu tagged 'HOT' ,the latter felt so bad that he decided he will not show up at the office again and starts smoking weed,his brother tries stopping him before their father arrived but seems it was too late as Bem arrived and didn't like what he saw and was smelling.Tesimi took the blame for his brother  and was sent packing.

My Ajasa:The character Fola and Ben's expression is spot on!well casted for and acting well for their roles!

Jikulumessu:For the love of Djemila

Lemba

This week Lemba was kidnapped and almost raped !Thanks to Djemila who was super brave to rescue her.
Roberto found out that tutorial students at Santa Agnes were diverted outside the school,He became devastated but Joel was able to help him out by setting a trap for Soraiya and Magharita,the plan succeeded but Soraiya had to take the blame alone.

Lucio is silenced by Sheila as only his warning worked.


Bento starts to flirt with Weza and Celso not loving it at all!

Joel's frequent visit to Dieji is causing headache for Ivo and Nayr.All plans to seperate the lovebirds for selfish reasons failed!Nayr wants to tell her son the truth but Ivo  objects(but it seems her mind is really made up now)

The Nembe children pass their audition at Musica though they were almost stopped by Carlos their father .Joel liked their voice and agree to bring them on board Musica.Bianca still planning to use Vanessa to spy on Joel .Deputy Walter was very happy as his dream of being an agent is about o be realised

Meanwhile a bait is being prepared for Erricson Leo by team Joel,the new face of Bsports and he is expected to fall....

Lemba's attempted rape brought back memories for the guys from Santa Agnes(William.Greg.Carlos)as they saw it in the newspaper.

Joel really wowed the love of his life Djemila with lovely gifts which included a concert for her and bringing in her favorite musician  Sandra to share the stage with her.

Hush- S 1:E9&10

Koko following commence work on the wedding gown Ike visits and see he in it ,she seeks his assistance to remove the dress as she was wearing it ,they ended up in a romantic mood.
Billz and Adze make up as the former finally helps the latter to access the Ipad.

Arin visits Alhaji Blow (Lanre Balogun) and she will not buy into rice politics to campaign.Oye also feels Chief Laisis should be on her side ,Arin approach him but he is angry over the smear campaign Arin was involved on his candidate in the last election,she made him understand she was just doing her job but he didn't agree on that.

Bem's expression after getting the Ipad was not a good one as it made him aggressive towards Adze.


E10

Oye notice her sister moody as the siblings discuss marriage,love life and Koko's relationship with Ike.Koko feels it's a jinx Ike saw her in a wedding dress.

Bem made it clear to Adze to mind his own business when his son brought up the Ipad topic.

An emergency meeting was summoned at the party headquarters ,the party chairman wants some candidates to step down ,Arin knowing she is being targeted opposes and disagree with the plan ,Fola sure supports the idea of weak candidates and calls Arin out,she did not find that funny and of course retaliated with her mouth,Fola choose to use his hands but was stopped.

Koko bumps into a strange guy(Mawuli Gavor) at the joint she was to meet Ike ,he tried starting a convo with her but she did not oblige him.

Adze's secret app is out and Vina might just be responsible for the sharing.

Gerald is sent forth at the 'club'.A new head as to be chosen from the two highest members;Fola and Bem (hmmm)

Bem agrees to marry Arin!(Fola will not find this funny at all!)He relates this to Oye.Arin also seems to have a deal with Chief Lasisi(Hakeem Rahman) as she feels she can have Alhaji Blow on their side who has threatened to leave the party at a crucial time .

NEXT:The guy Koko bumped into at the joint is Bem's other son! *In Sule and Ruffy's voice* 'Wahala ma wa ooo '

Jikulumessu:Joel the drama creator

So the Bsports campaign day finally arrived with Ericsson Leo as  the new face of Bsports.Claudia arrives to take the shine of the event away and Bianca is not pleased at all!The media even made it worse by making Claudia's return headlines rather than Bsports launch.

Ivo feels Joel is on a revenge mission but the latter denies .

Greg tries to smooth talk Djemila again and even though she did not agree with his excuses deep down she feels Greg still likes her and is seen later asking Clydee to confirm if Greg and Bianca really having marital problems.Nayr is also encouraging her to stay wit Greg (all for her own benefit)

Lucio is proving very difficult to Magharita and William.They are hoping to get rid of him.

Joel shows up at Nuno's residence after he was directed there by Nayr,Nuno panicked as Bianca was there in his house for their usual sexcapades but they didn't meet.

Priscillia's lie backfires when Joel innocently asks her if she met with Lao Kim in front of Bento when she had earlier lied to her boss a relative had an accident.The drama did not stop there as fought Djemila who was hired temporarily to take her place for always being in her way(Serious fighting ooo)Celso,Joel and Gerson had to old the ladies back.

Lemba tries practicing to prepare a dinner for two but she didn't do it well.Her mum and Nina notes there is room for improvement.

Nayr almost had an heart attack when she found Joel talking to Gerson!She had to invent a lie to separate the two brothers who are yet to know they are one.

Lao Kim finds it strange people are not showing up for Roberto's classes.

On Bianca's way out of Dieji(the neighbourhood where Nuno stays) she sights Joel and Djemila ,she informs Greg of what she saw and happy Djemila moved on but her hubby not cool with it(the look he has on is that of defeat from Joel)

Joel spots Phillipe practising at the basketball court and seems to have interest in the young player.

And since Joel got back from Angola he really had a nice time with Djemila!!


 

HUSH-S1:E8

Ben is stylishly warming his way into Arinola's heart with his moves,even Oye is surprised about seeing him bring change of clothes for Arin.(after all his initial shakara)He also invited her out for dinner and ended up being a 'Ben 10' through his goons for the guy that harassed her back at the restaurant .

Vina test Adze's love for her(she had to after Koko's rant Adze might be using her) when she requests for money and he was really willing to get it for her and even had a slight argument with Billz over the matter.He was about to make a  pact to be sealed with a kiss when Sule disturbed by hitting the table hahahahaha*never a dull moment with Sule*.

Meanwhile Adze has to unlock the Ipad and not just fix the screen


Ben doesn't want to involve House of Tsenogu with bridal wears  when Kokon suggest it but Sule is really convinced Koko can do it on her own and even assures her of other assistance from those at 'Woro Taiwo' (it is a place where fabrics,sewing materials are sold in Lagos market....I was like Sule is too gbaski and couldn't stop laughing)

Fola wonders where Ben could be and why he is not present at their rendezvous,one of the members has no response and leaves while Fola sits down.

Oye still trying to liaise with Rafiu to get through the grassroots.

Jikulumessu:Viagra gone bad

Vanessa still wants some sexual healing from Carlos who had to go and get more 'strength' but unfortunately things went bad as he had an heart attack but was lucky to be saved by Gerson.His inlaws also aware as Flor found the evidence of Viagra in the bin,she told Vanessa who felt her father makes use of it and not her husband.

Lucio made us know Magharita uses the female students in Santa Agnes as prostitutes!

Deputy Walter continues to train his grandchildren to be able to join Musica s one of their talents and stressing the poor children.

Ruth doesn't want to work at all,she just wants to sit around and enjoy the good life!when Joel raised issue of work she felt very uncomfortable and almost choked on her food.

Priscillia takes her music lessons offers her gratitude to Nuno in bed .

Nayr keeps pushing Djemila to Greg all because she doesn't want Joel in their neighbourhood,she even tells Ivo to matchmake him to another lady.

Joel feels his father should resume playing basketball or even be a coach but Ivo's accident from the game years ago  has not been forgotten.

Greg trying to trace the person that sent Bianca flowers to ruin his date with Djemila,he is very sure Joel  behind it but no proof.

HUSH:S1:16&17(Recap)

 Bem  hands over the Ipad Gerald gave him before he died to repair  to Adze and shouldn't let it out of his sight but that was not to be as Adze gave it to Billz his friend who in turn gave it to a technician.When Ben found out he was not pleased and demanded for the Ipad .ASAP.

Uncle Gerald's death has been confirmed.The lawyer also in formed Arinola about his death,She was indeed sad as he was like a father figure to her.

Adze and Vina now an item,the former showed her the application he was developing with Billz (Jerry Mudi)his friend which they were not meant to show anyone.

The group summoned Bem to find out his last moments with Gerald aka The Worthy One,he didn't tell them the truth about what was discussed and went ahead to lie about the cause of his death which autopsy gave as poisoning but he said it was an heart attack(Could Ben have killed Gerald or he is trying to investigate something?we'll sure know with time).Bem and Fola are forever on each other's throat but they do it in such a stylish manner.(those two characters slaying their roles,their expressions to each other  is something else!)

Bem and Koko apparently have been sleeping with each other before now ,Bem sees it as no big deal as they are two consenting adults  while Coco is beginning to feel guilty or maybe she has stronger feelings for boss.

Oye suggests to Bem to marry Arinola ,he felt insulted with her proposal and sent her out politely but he is later seen visiting Arin and offering her help and this changed her perception about him.

 Koko  contemplates going for the fashion show on wedding gowns after Sunday showed her a flyer,her sister Oye also encourages her to give it a try.

Gerald's daughter Ntse(Uche Mac-Auley)  made Arinola understand she will not be attending her father's funeral,from the conversation it is obvious she never got along with her father while he was alive.

Suspense is really in the air.....

Hush:Highlights of week one

Arinola Cardoso(Thelma Okoduwa) is interested in running for the post of governor of Lagos state but some on the men around like Fola(Rotimi Adelegan)  ,Tayo the anchor of The Couch programme(Taiwo Gasper) feel she should not contest as she is a newbie and also being a woman but she would not let that deter her at all.
Oye(Ade Laoye) her campaign manager is doing her best to make sure all things work well for Arin she tried setting up a blind date which didn't  go well and recently had to seek the help of Rafiu  aka Ruffy Jackson(Kunle Fawole)from the Ghetto 'awon ti tarmac'  to penetrate the grassroot a decision Arin is not cool with.

Koko(Meg Otanwa) is Oye's sister who works with Ben Tsenogu and is kind of over focused on her work ,a trait her fiance Ike (Chuks Chyke)doesnt like,she promised to make it up to him by promising to pick up his mum(Doreen Oyesanya),though she didn't but planned another make up but her mother in law to be doesn't like her at all.


Adze (Baaj Adebule)who is not interested in his father's line of work finally got interested when he met pretty Lovina (Uche Nwoefuna)who initially was not willing to grant him audience but things changed when she found out he is the son of the boss

Ferdinand (Olarotimi Fakunle) Arinola's friend like a brother who is an activist  was murdered and it was made to look like he was robbed as he had threatened to bring to light revelations about a certain group.


Sule(Sunday Afolabi) the comedian in the series so far hehehehe,he has a name for everyone eg he calls koko Cocosheen (that old hair cream heheheh)

Fola wants constant validation from Ben.

The great one as Uncle Gerald is called gave Bem a tablet before he collapsed ....

The week ended somewhat sad as Uncle Gerald is dead going by the request of Ben for an autopsy.Frustration  and anger leads Bem and his worker end up making out(Na wa for that venting style ooo ,better than killing someone sha)

The actors are really playing their roles well!Loved Bem,Gerald this week,those two shown they know their onions well(all others did well but i enjoyed their acting more this week)Every other thing also in place location,directing,cinematography ,production design.

Jikulumessu:Another enemy for Bianca,Greg's rendezvous fails

Joel finally get hold of the person who will help him ruin Bianca,her name is Claudia(For a moment i thought it was Sara Paca) .It's a later revealed Bianca had hurt the lady by ruining her career.
Ivo visits Nayr and he advised her to send Djemila away from her house to avoid Joel coming around,Ivo still doesn't want to end the charade!

Wilmar is till missing as Clydee is worried and informs Magharita  who has and idea what is wrong  but pretended she doesn't,they promise they will look for the missing student and Clydee shouldn't tell anyone.

Bruno went in search of Nayr and still doesn't know that is his cousin's mistress but couldn't see her but was very close and would have met Ivo there who lied about his whereabouts.Ivo suspects Nayr is the lady in question but since Nayr doesn't remember Bruno she told him all is well

Vanessa and her intimacy with her husband1She went the extra mile by even turning their room to a club with disco lights and all,made aphrodisiacs for Carlos.By the time they were about to get down to business her father showed up with a guest but her mother was late in communicating the new schedule to her as she had earlier agreed to vacate the house for the couple.

Greg had it all figured out via deceit to get Djemila laid ,thanks to Nuno who  was able to sense the pit his cousin was about to fall into.He informed Greg who put a very good,calm and intelligent  plan by sending flowers to Bianca from Greg who lied he was going to Paris.The rendezvous was ruined and Djemila i hope will finally see the handwriting on the wall and stop falling for Greg's lies!

And ruining Bianca's campaign a second time by Joel.....we keeping our eyes open to see how it's going to be done.

Jikulumessu:The Revenge plan continues, Family relocation oozes trouble

Joel and Lao Kim

Joel begins plan to ruin Bianca's latest Bsport campaign and is even getting someone involved.He gets all the information he needs through Lao Kim who got it from Clydee ,Nunu also gave some info but the Bsport staff not aware of what's going on.

Roberto finally got a student for his tutorial class and Soraiya couldn't stop it as everything happened too fast,Magharita decides she will deal with Roberto herself.

Gerson makes Clydee realise they cannot have a romantic relationship but Nayr still hopeful or something

Priscillia was able to get Joel's contact from Nuno after he saw him on television calling for talents for Musica,she quickly goes to Nayr to book an appointment for her nails and that;s when Nayr noticed Joel Kapala is her husband's son and Djemila's friend,she is really worried the Kapala boys might clash especially as Ivo is relocating to Luanda,she plans to stylishly ask Djemila to leave and vows to separate Djemila and Joel a plan Weza thinks it is too harsh and reminds her of her limit as he isn't God.

The Kapalas arrive Luanda and they are amazed at Joel's house.Ruth waste no time in assuming boss lady role as she is seen ordering for varieties to eat,the good life is really sweet!

The Nembe twins continue with their music lesson to become 'stars'

William seems to have tackled their 'troublesome ' client as he came to thank him while he was in class with Nina  waiting for other students.He later lies to Nina Lucio is a student  whom he assisted and she should keep what she saw a secret.

The Pacas are on their way to London and hopefully get Sarah their daughter to return to Angola .Bianca coincidentally stumbles on Sarah in a magazine and gets to know she is a marketing executive with many awards,she teases Greg about his Santa Agnes love who cared less,she then assembles her staff to speed up the Bsport campaign.

Lao Kim overheard the shift in date of the campaign and informs Joel,they have to speed up their own plan too.

Priscilla is such a drama queen,she decides to faint to get Joel's attention at Musica but they knew she was playing  a prank.(Priscilla should be Mr Walter's daughter /colleague their characters fit hehehe)

HUSH :Africamagic Latest Telenovella

So another telenovella as been added to my watching list for the year.It's HUSH!The first episode was quite interesting and captivating!
It's a tale of Power,Ambition,Politics and Fashion.The cast boast of both veterans and new faces in the make belief world of acting.
The first episode reveals Arinola Cardoso  (Thelma Okoduwa) the bold and daring young lady who wants to venture into politics ,the fashion designer/under gee man Bem Tsenogu (Richard Mofe -Damijo) .The Agunbiade siblings who work with Arin and Ben respectively Koko (Ade Laoye) and Oye (Meg Otanwa).
A clique also exist in the series of 'strong men'  like Fola Majekodunmi (Rotimi Adelegan),Gerald (Olu Jacobs)

AdzeTsenogu(Baaj Adebule ) Ben's son comes across as one who is unserious as he abandons duty for grooving.
The character Sule one of the staff at Ben's fashion store House of Segneur (Sunday Afolabi) also gave us a bit of comic too.
Arin's brother Ferdinand (Olarotimi Fakunle) the activist  seems to be in trouble as his activities seem to not go well with some people.
The Head Writer for the telenovella is Chris Ihidero ,Director is Victor Sanchez Aghahowa,Tope Oshin and Patience Imobhio .
It's just day one week one  so just getting to know who plays what role and understand the story better but if the first episode is anything to go by it's going to be a beautiful telenovella and Hush will be TUSH

Movie Review:Oxford Garden

Julius De Ceasar (Ngoli Okafor) a boxer who found it difficult getting back into his profession after coming out of jail but finds encouragement and love from a lady Munachi (Ngozi Thompson Igwebike)who also has her own issues .The two strangers were able to connect and encourage each through their lives struggle.

One of those things that will wow you in the movie is the car somersault when Julius had an accident with Annabel(Savannah Roy) is one of those scenes that will leave you speechless and applaud the movie,the training of Julius to get back into the boxing ring,the fight itself were done very well....if i may say world class.The cinematography ,locations etc  beautiful and gave the desired effect to the movie.

The introduction of Femi Munachi's ex lover(Frank Ani) did not really add any value to the movie per se as with or without him the story would have still flowed very well  as his coming didn't make a difference...
The movie is from the stable of Nollywood Film Factory . Directed by Obi Emelonye .It is Produced by Amaka Obi -Emelonye in association with Africamagic.

The movie is an  impressive one!The best I have seen from the stable of Nollywood film factory.

William and Magharita's business seems to be going bad as not even the luxury wristwatch could pacify their client!
Djemila did her photo shoot but unknown to her Greg is footing the bill and he told the manager at Super Luanda Fm to keep it a secret.
Joel's mind now made up to seek revenge against those that contributed to his mother's death, after Greg's latest prank,Lao Kim tries to talk him out of it all to no avail.

Nayr

Nayr refuse to say anything about Greg's relationship with Djemila to Joel,she tells him to ask Djemila herself who wasn't pleased her teenage love investigating her.

Celso is really caring for Phillipe Weza's son....step father things hehehee.
Vanessa and Bianca to start the music lesson for the children despite Carlos' refusal.
 Ruth Kapala is excited about their move to Luanda just like Nina and her son but Ivo feels the opposite(He knows what is going to happen when his secret comes to light)

I am so eager to know the business Magharita and her lover boy William into and the revenge strategy....we'll keep our eyes open!
