HUSH S1:E42

Oye and Ike discuss Koko and his job search,she advise him not to be comfortable with joblessness.The Tsenogus are to take a picture  at breakfast to show the public they are on happy family .Tess wonders why Oye loves keeping up appearances she reminds him it's best for what they are doing.

The staff discuss Bem's wedding and one of them noted Koko's expression when she saw Arin ,Sule said it was because she felt bad her work was not what Arin wore .Vina calls Koko but her line was
unreachable.

Bem gets Arin acquainted with his sons,talks of Adze who introduced himself as an entrepreneur,braniac and didn't forget his App Loco.Tess past was introduced by his father of once being a drug addict but now clean.

Tess chats with his mum via video chat,she tells Tess not to forget their plan which has to be fast has she has been diagnosed with cancer,he is distraught and
 Arin noticed as she passed by,stepmother and
stepson later chat as Arin tells him she also knew a drug addict too and  her doors are always opened.

Bem had to go and pay Koko a visit at home when he heard she was not at work,Ike was a bit hostile but that didn't stop Bem from seeing Koko who is still sulking over the torn wedding dress (Abeg who tear the gown sef...everyone is a suspect even Koko herself)

Back at the party secetariat Oye is reinstated as Arin's campaign manager .Arin informs them of her short honeymoon with Bem ,Chief Lasisi does not like the idea but Arin assures them Oye can handle things perfectly while she is away.

Ruffy is to monitor Taju,the guy that feigned injuries after Arin's town hall meeting closely.

Fola wants the club to continue support him but Head Servant Bem disagrees and needs to be convinced,Benson interrupts their convo and Bem brings up the issue of their pledge and hope they resolve it  before he lives town as he excuses them.Fola wants Benson  to make Billz to drop charges but he will not and not scared of Fola.

Arin and Oye talk about Tokunbo's silence,they try Nse's line too and it's inaccessible meanwhile Nse was at the police station reporting the sudden disappearance of Tokunbo.

NEXT:Arin is invited for questioning by the police

HUSH S1:E41

Arin and Bem are officially a couple .Bem talks about their living arrangement and it is compulsorily they stay together though they will be using seperate rooms ,Oye wanted to be part of the conversation as she felt nothing was special about the discussion but Arin told her to excuse them.

Meanwhile Ruffy told Oye no sign of Tokunbo  but they are on ground to handle him if he shows up.

Fola call and text message disrupted Adze and Vina's making out session.Fola is sure not pleased with Adze and makes him know he will face the consequence of his action alone at the club.Vina also met with Fola at Populus,she found the place strange but Fola assures her there is nothing to be scared of,Vina denies ever knowing Billz was involved in App Loco and was sad her investment will go down the drain as she was also being 'lied' to,this gimmick worked for her as Fola will not pull out his investment from App Loco and also spoils Vina with some money via cheque,he wants her to leave the 'small boy' and be with him to enjoy his 'generosity'.

Koko is angry Ike did not come for the wedding and Oye confirms this to him and also inform him the wedding dress was in shreds and they have no idea who did that.

Nse wants to know about Tokunbo's departure from the hotel but she met a brick wall.the manager is a member of Populus unknown to her.

Tess and his father talk about the blood stain shirt,Bem ask about his mum but he told his father she is still incommunicado  but he later got a call from her ,it seems she will be showing up soon and knows Bem's recent marriage.

NEXT:The staff of House of Tsenogu talk about Koko and her attitude at their boss wedding and she was yet to come to work.

Movie Review: ATM

Robinson (Alexx Ekubo) has a plan of getting permanent residency  abroad ,he is able to get a lady 'maga' Emilia(Oyinbo Princess) online.He extorts her and eventually made her come down to Nigeria so that he can marry her and set his fraudulent ideas(Authentic Tentative Marriage) in motion.Robinson informs his uncle Gbenga(Francis Odega)of his plan who supports him but wants his girlfriend Caro(Yvonne Jegede) to be carried along an idea Robinson did not like but her eccentric behaviour leaves him with no choice.

Emilia arrives and Robinson continues to fleece her but unknown to him Emilia understands and can speak pidgin language very well and so she gives him a shocker and crumbles his plans and holds him hostage.

The good:It was quite hilarious (The cinema audience laughed and i did to )to see a white speak pidgin  and she sure cracked ribs while she was at it .The movie also gives some sort of encouragement to youths and that one can make it in Nigeria.

Not so good:There were some typographical errors in the subtitling and one that can I remember was when i saw ribs spelt as 'rips'.For Uncle Gbenga i needed him to sound more yorubaish going by his name but it somewhat fly if we assume he is just Yoruba by name.There was also a bit of confusion when Robinson  had a sort of premonition of Emilia will turn against him....
The picture quality of the movie just okay,nothing off the hook.



Emilia's  discovery and true love for Robinson's coupled makes him have a genuine change of heart and stay back  to achieve his dreams and live happily ever after.

Overall I'll rate the movie okay..'just there' like we say in naija.

HUSH S1:E40

Oye informs Koko they will be stopping by at  House of Tsenogu to fit the wedding dress and hope she will be ready for them.
Arin brings Oye up to date on what happened after Nse spilled about her dirty past and not sure Bem will still want to marry her.Oye had to quickly go and meet Bem to remind him of his contractual obligations .Bem told her all is fine but felt Arin should stop her ambition of being a governor after all the interesting info he heard,Oye of course disagrees

Bem advise Adze to come clean and let Billz be a partner in the business.

The wedding dress Koko worked on all night was tampered with,the Agunbiade sisters were at each other's throat but Arin halted the quarrel and went into another bridal store.

Bem asks Tess for Tokunbo's contact and he pays Arin's ex a visit, to make him leave town especially after he claims he had been settled .Tokunbo insulted Bem for being a weak man and that he had also checked him about and knows about Populous and that does not scare him,he even pointed a gun at Bem's head which he was warned not to do  and pushed his luck to far which ended in badly as Tokunbo fell down hit his head and he is RIP. (it's a sad one but Bem 10 is boss!)
Meanwhile Ruffy ,Alabama and two others also waiting to stop Tokunbo but unknown to them he has been dealt.
  Fola is leaving DM political party.
Tess and Adze commend the wedding and joked they should do this more often,The elder Tsenogu son told his younger brother he will be next as Vina showed up.

Bem tidied up  Tokunbo very well and neatly..we see some 'packaged goon do away with the He showed just on time as Oye was worried he will not show up,Tess noticed stain on his father's shirt and ask them to exchange as that stain can be a bad omen for his wedding.

The wedding ceremony commence.....Vina alamost spilled on Koko/Bem Affair to Adze

Nse is at the wedding waiting earnestly for Toks ....

Jikulumessu:The She devils hurt Djemila

The She-devils Bianca and Magharita

Mario was unable to convince Djemila to sign up with him rather she went for Musica.Joel was delighted she was on board as they released press statements .The She devils Bianca and Magharita moved to their plan B .They sent Djemila a fake shopping voucher and Magharita feigned she was a certain Maria Sosa who wanted her to be their brand ambassador and scheduled a meeting.

Jordao pleaded with his uncle Bruno to take him to see his sister Nina at Lemba's house.they got there and also found Joel there who had come to plead with her to come back home.

Phillipe is really in love with Nina already and is worried he cannot afford the restaurant Nina propose they hang out,his everyone tells him to let her know he cannot including his mum Weza ,this afford Phillipe the opportunity to reflect on his living standard and more determined to get a better job.His mum Weza also worried and mentioned how her sister Prof Magharaita does not want to help her.Nayr encourages her and assures her all will be well.Phillipe had to get involved in a shady deal with a tout  who overhead him ask Bento for a job but Joel came as an angel to keep him off the crime unknown to him.


Magharita executed her plan as she met with Djemila as anonymous and put some clothes in her bag ,Joel showed up as Djemila told him about the meeting but by the time the lovers were about to leave the store ,the alarm went on and Djemila's bag had to be searched,the store owner arrived and police had to be involved!it was really a bad one as Magharita recorded everything and later uploaded online!(I don't know what happened to Joel that he is yet to sense it's the work of his enemies)

And Nuno a very silly cousin he is!he cannot even defend his cousin or give her clues all because he wants to please Bianca and get 'some from her......hisssss .He saw the video online when Clydee opened it,all he did was to inform Djemila who had to rush down to Gerson's palce to view it.

Sara Paca has been shortlisted for the post of marketing at Exclusiva and Bsports,she has two days for the presentation and she immediately swung into action.She also ran into Lemba and they agreed to hang out at a later date.

Pedro nabs the Angolan criminal in Brazil and insists he will not visit his home country but Flor will try and convince him to come home.

Maria feels Ivo should leave Nina to cool off and it's good she is doing that around family and not some unknown destination ,she also told him not to worry so much about her love life as Nina is a smart girl.

Priscilla will not allow anyone to spoil her intimate time with Nuno,she told Nuno's partner in crime to stay away

Lemba will do all she can to help her cousin and the love of his life,she also believe Djemila is innocent and will not allow the info to leak to the press especially as investigations still ongoing.

I hope Joel wakes up and crush the shedevil ASAP.....it will happen but these telenovellas could prolong things  hehehehehehe

HUSH S1-E 39(recap)

Tokunbo showed Ruffy and Alabama he is the boss as he was able to scare them away with his gun.
Billz told Adze he wants to meet with the investor but he was not willing to do that he later told Vina and was going to involve his dad but Billz later brought up the matter at Populus as Bem moved the issue to their pledgees to handle before they face the senior council.

Oye gets the report from Ruffy and it is not a favourable one,the goons also mentioned seeing Bem who later came up and asked if Arin had any ties with Tokunbo,she was able to end the discussion as she accused Bem of spying on her.

Tokunbo narrates his ordeal to Nse,he notes he has been soft on Arin and will increase his level of taunting her.

Koko is going coco!she is still emotionally attached to Bem but he didn't fall for her or engage in any intimate design like they normally do.

Tunde Baker confess he did the bribing on behalf of Arinola,Chief Lasisi not pleased and Arin wants him fired!Tunde claimed he had to step up his game as Folahan will have won if he did not do the needful

Ike stops by to see Koko and even went with dinner but he left in anger when he heard Koko was giving up her wedding dress for Arin(he didn't leave his food behind after all the vexing heheheh)

Alabama and Ruffy now Arinola's guards, Bem vists and shortly Nse shows up too,she drops the bombshell of Tokunbo being Arin's ex and her former stint in drug trafficking!Bem leaves angrily and will not listen to her explanations

NEXT:The wedding gown Koko worked on all night seems to have been tampered with.

HUSH S1:E38

Adze tell Tess he is behind the buzzing App Loco and the disagreement he has with Billz on the App,Tess advise his brother to come clean as a fresh start always the best.

Bem talks about Arin moving in after their wedding to create a good public impression,they digress  a bit when Bem talks about his perception toward vices (drugs,women etc) citing example of how he sanctioned his son when he was caught with Marijuana.

Alhaji Blow shows up with one Chief Cope while she was to complaining to Oye about the false allegations,they later found out Tunde Baker Arin's campaign manager was behind it,she is not pleased at all.

Folahan wants Bem to stop Arin from contesting but he would do no such thing.

Oye noticed her sister's awkward behaviour as per the wedding dress,she gives her word 'top dollar' will be paid for it.The sisters also discus s Ike's 'let go' from work as Koko mildly put it.Oye just wants house rules maintained.

Adze shows his father the contract he signed with Folahan ,Bem asks his son if there is more but he did say anything again

Vina and Adze finally make up and she promised to get Billz to see reasons not to pull down the App but her meeting with Billz yielded no result.

Bem and his sons discuss the upcoming wedding and they are allowed to bring a guest each,it was good to see the Tsenogu boys and their father together.

Alabama and Ruffy trail Tokunbo to deal with him,they had to wait a bit longer as Bem also met with him,Tokunbo revealed his true identity as Arin's ex.Ruffy and Alabama took over as they tried to do their own assignment but they FAILED woefully (Ase e ti e le *they are not hard guys at all)
Alabama was even saluting Tokunbo after he saw a gun  (with all the mouth he has......shioor)

NEXT:Koko is still not letting go of Bem from her system ...(Sister shey dandan ni...na by force)

The character Nina

Joel couldn't tell Nina his sister about their father's secret as he did not want to disrupt her test at the college but a trip to Dieji revealed the true state of things to Nina courtesy of Phillipe as Gerson was there when she asked of Ivo who is the father to Gerson as well.

Phillipe tried to  make sure Nina didnt cross path with Ivo who was still in the neighbourhood but fate still brought them together.Nayr and Bruno are becoming more than friendly too each other ....

Nuno found out Djemila was to record at the radio station he destroyed,Djemila arrived there and found out about the destruction coupled with the fact that the station is in debt,she feels terrible.Mario arrives and pitches his plan to her but by the time she told Joel,he proposed a better plan and had her on board Musica.

Ivo finally had the courage to tell Jordao ,Nina leaves the house to start staying with Lemba and Maria.Joel trying hard to keep the family as one.

The new recruit to Magharita and William's prostitution ring seems to have something up her sleeve..... she ask too many questions unlike the other girls.

Sara Paca arrives Angola and goes for an interview for the post of marketing manager with Bspots and Exclusiva,the Kialas didn't recognise her initially but by the time Bianca checked her name she knew who she was.Bianca is not comfortable with her return but Greg sees it as  good one no strings attached.

Celso is disappointed he was the last to find out about Ivo's secret,he also told his friend about a possible relationship between his step son Phillipe and his daughter Nina.

HUSH:S1:E37

Arin likes the wedding dress Koko is designing and will like to have that has her wedding dress.Bem also add his voice and Koko couldn't say No

Oye

Oye plans to talk to Tokunbo to back off but it proved abortive as he refused to sign the agreement she proposed ,Tess had to intervene as things were about to get violent.

Ike is really in debts as he cannot even afford to rent a place to stay yet,Koko is surprised he had not saved enough for the rainy day.

Bem tells Adze to return home and made him realise he cares about him and as a member of Populus he needs to be properly guided,he also warned him about Fola.
 

Fola is not okay with the result of the election primaries and he wants to seek redress,the party secretary advised him against but all  fell on deaf ears,Arin also had to make him realise not even an insurance company could guarantee his victory.

Alhaji Blow is angry with Arinola  for trying to double cross him,she is surprised at the allegations as she is planning no such thing,her campaign manager will get to the root of the matter.

While preparations are on for the main elections,the Party wants to bring together all the waring factions in the party,he wants Arinola to visit the elders too including those that did not vote for her.

Billz wants Adze to take the App down and gives him an ultimatum to that effect

Oye wants Ruffy to tackle Tokunbo.

NEXT:Bem meets Tokunbo Dosunmo and he found out he was Arin's ex husband.

Movie Review:Just not Married

Duke (Stan Nze) a ghetto boy is determined to make it but he has obstacles of financing his education,things get worse when he has to cater for his dying mother Joyce (Perpetua Adefemi) who but will never allow her son to take to vice just like his older brother Victor( Obutu Roland )Duke will not carry gun but with a very creative mind he brings carves a form of robbery with his friends Lati a former mechanic(Rotimi Salami) and Keji an hairdresser(Judith Audu Foght )which they pretend to be newly weds after stealing a car.

The story reaches a climax when YJ(Brutus Richard)  tries to know how the gang deliver without hiccups and Duke refuse to let him in on their method plus Lati's frivolous spending .

The movie characters is one  Nigerians can relate with the ' hustle and morality' spirit.At the end of it all only Duke had a very lucky escape.

The story itself is a creative one  suspense of the movie is great one and it was sustained throughout the movie.The police chase was also a good one,the shadow reflection where the gang were on the street  was on point ,locations too very okay.All the actors delivered their roles very well too.

Any shortfall in the movie? Hmm truthfully  and personally I did not observe any .

The movie is written by Lani Aisida,directed by Oluseyi Asurf and produced by Judith Audu Foght and Morten Foght(Executive producer)

My overall rating for the movie 'Very Good'

HUSH S1:E36

Arin's staff put up a surprise party for her to congratulate her of her success at the primaries.Bem shows up and this made her kind of uncomfortable but he blended well into the programme,he even dropped her off at home and told her he is just doing his 'job'

Vina will not grant Adze audience at all and was very quick to shoo him out of her house.Adze is surprised at her behaviour especially as she had been the one encouraging him since she found out about App Loco.

Tokunbo calls Arin to inform him about Oye's visit and double his demand!immediately Oye arrived the office Arin brought up the topic about her contact with Tokunbo ,she made her boss understand she had to do that after the money went missing in the account,Arin notes the drug story is one she wants to put behind but it's now haunting her.Oye has a plan to fix it but will have to keep Arin in the dark and she swings into action.

Adze shows up at the main house,Tess wants him to leave as their father should not see him,a phonecall from Billz takes him out.

Fola is pissed about his loss and blames Bem who made him realise all hope not lost yet and the club really tried its best.

Bem queries Vina about her relationship with Fola,she tells him he is toasting her but didn't go into details about Fola/Adze relationship as Oye and Arin showed up to plan wedding.

Oye wants Koko to give Ike the house rules especially he is now a flatmate.

Arin takes note of Koko's wedding dress and might have it as her own.

NEXT:Tokunbo and Oye meet again ,the meeting not a pleasant one.

Jikulumessu:Is Nuno Alright?

Bianca does not appreciate Carlos in laws visit to their mother a,she sees it as a  sign of weakness,she informs Greg Joel will soon be out of Angola but will not tell him what she has has planned.

Gerson is planning to his own business after his mum gave him some money to start up.Clydee trying all her efforts to seduce him,first Priscilla helped her and then Nuno but all failed !(If only they know hahahahahahahahaha)

Claudia left Angola and probably too emotional for goodbyes face to face,she left a Video Cd to show all the memories she had back with Angola with Joel and his family Djemila inclusive.

Greg still unable to reach Sarah Paca,Elena had to call her daughter after Greg told her she was unable to speak to her who told her mother she has a surprise.......Elena and Lui wonder what it could be.

Carlos Nambe is finding it very hard to fulfil his conjugal duties ,he has resorted in drugging Vanessa to shut her up by giving her the wine he mixed and a massage that sent her to lalala land.

Djemila and Joel sure having a good time together.

Joel is trying all he can to get info on Bianca 's private life  and he wants Maria's assistance who was almost caught by Soraia in Bianca's room.

Kim couldn't get any scoop from Clydee at their lunch date.

Carlos is offering free legal services to his 'good friend ' Gerson.

Nuno destroys the Radio station where his cousin Djemila is to start recording her album all because he wants to satisfy his boss/bedmate.(If only he knew he is sleeping with the enemy)

Maria feels Joel should quit the revenge plan after she heard of Soraia's sickness but he is stopping at all.

Magharita is feeling really relaxed about their plans with Mario who is to destroy Joel while William more concerned about his debt.

HUSH S1:E35

Vina is very angry with Adze for signing the agreement with Fola ,Adze felt it was not a big deal but it was as she had to send him out of her house!
The Agunbiade sisters (Koko &Oye) discussion didn't go well at table as they seem not to agree on Ike/Koko relationship.

Bem is such a romantic,even with the contract relationship.he shows up with breakfast at Arin's house and gives her a necklace and tags it her lucky charm,he fixed it around her neck.
Tokunbo shows up at Arin's office again to taunt her ,he even increased the money he wants to collect from her.

Oye confront Arin about the missing funds and even threatened to tell chief Lasisi but Arin did not take her seriously

Tess updates Oye on all he was able to gather from Tokunbo /Arin conversation,she was able to relate it to the missing fund from the fundraiser account.

Oye meets with Tokunbo and she didn't believe it  when she heard  her boss was once into drugs (using,selling etc)

Billz listened to his uncle Benson as he turned Adze down when he wanted accommodation of where to stay after Vina threw him out.

Tess comes to his brother's rescue as he allowed him to stay in their father's house who was not aware of this.

Fola and Bem are each other's throat but in a stylish mode,Fola is so sure he will emerge the winner at the party primaries .Benson notice the tension between the two men and he advise them to relax(you have to love those two when they are arguing,they do it so well!)

More wahala(trouble) for Ike!He has been evicted from his house!he had to ask Koko if he could put up with her for a while and she agreed(Hurricane Oye nko?)He was lucky his mum left before the eviction occurred.
 Arionola is the flag bearer of the party primaries!!The look on Fola's face was priceless!(oro naa dun ofe ke hahahahahahahahahahah translated it so painful he wants to cry!)

NEXT:Oye confronts Arin again and this time tells her what Tokunbo told her.Bem also questions Vina about her relationship with Fola Majekodunmi.

HUSH S1 :E34

Bem drops Arin off and before she alighted from the car he asked her about Tokunbo but she denied ever having knowing him at all.
 
Nse ask for update about Arin from Tokunbo,his initial response to her  was not favourable but he later made her know he has more plans to make Arin's life miserable.

Benson the former warden (He happens to be Billz's uncle) warns his nephew to stay away from Adze and drop the best friend thought seeing there is 'war' on him between Bem and Fola.

Arin still not telling Oye the truth about what is happening to her,her lie about that time of the month was not working as she (Oye) had been tracking Arinola's cycle (PA of life!)

Adze signs the contract and Fola hurriedly collects it from him and tell him to expect 'Alert '

Tess brings up the topic about Adze and Populus but his father tells him it's none of his business and Adze might even get punished for running his mouth.

Koko sends Sule to 'Woro Taiwo' and tells him to hurry up ,Sule says 'Eko o jina go slow lo po' meaning Eko not far but the traffic congestion makes it look far (Yes oo Sule Go slow can kill person in Lagos).Koko later reach out to Tess and tell him she has been ignoring her,they chat as he talks about her quarrel with Oye ,their gisting session ended when she got a call from Ike who has been fired from work.Ike warns her not to tell his mum.

Bem's goon gives him update about his assignment of trailing ,he was given another and this time he was to watch Arin and Tess at the Party Primaries.

Oye was surprised to hear about the balance of the fundraiser and she had to dash to the bank,Arin was the one that made the withdrawal,before she left she told Tess to keep an eye on Arin.

Tokunbo shows up at Arin's office and Tess was able to see him just before he left unknown to him and it seems he heard all the conversation between them.

NEXT:Oye tells Tokunbo to stop threatening Arin or she will report to the police.Tokunbo drops the bombshell,Arin was once pushed drugs!

Fola ask Vina to name her destination for their romantic getaway!

HUSH S1:E33

Bem swears in the new club members and tells them to engrave the words of the oath in their hearts .Adze and his father return home as Bem warns his son on his latest 'achievement'  but Adze will rather take his chances unknown to them Tess was eavesdropping and heard it all,he later talked about his brother with their dad but Bem didn't want to hear  about him.

Adze returns to his 'room mate' Vina  who was already worried about him,he gives her the news of his inciation and that Mr Majekodunmi made it happen,Boobae Vina looks uncomfortable.

Bem tells his goon to track Fola and Adze's every move and he sure is on top of his duties as he saw Vina enter Fola's car.Vina spills on her discussion with Adze about the club which he was not meant to tell anyone,they talk about the contract,their hangout and above all Vina wants her boobae safe.

Koko wants Oye's story to tally with hers on her being busy to attend the dinner with Ike and his mum but she refused but will rather make him know she doesn't like him.

Tess and Oye joke about their younger ones and their naughty behaviour ,Vina walks in and Tess approach her to come to him if Adze is in trouble but she ignores him.

Arin appreciates Oye and wishes her well even if things go South with her political ambition.

Bem takes breakfast to Arin as they discuss her achievement and felt he went to far by bringing her food but he reminded her of their couple plan,he received an Sms from Nse that their date is now for lunch.

Tess invites Adze for breakfast and he stylishly brought up their father's mood yesterday night relating to him,Adze was furious and Billz phonecall to meet was a perfect excuse to leave the venue.

Billz brings up the App Loco talk and how the owner as been avoiding him and if no response soon he will hack into the App,he also discuss his sudden return to the country which was an invite from his Uncle Benson.

At the lunch date,Tokunbo shows up and Bem was kind of surprised a third party joined which happens to be Tokunbo whose arrival made Arin uneasy.He sends a text to Arin to demand for the money.they both stylishly excused themselves from the table to meet.Bem saw them but they did not know.(Tokunbo might probably  be dealt  with by  Mr Bem 10)

Fola taunts Bem about Adze's membership in the club and tells him what he saw is just the tip of the iceberg (Hmmm,We are watching  for the clash of the titans )

Adze takes a look on the agreement ,it seems he stumbled on it because his look was not pleasant.

NEXT:Tess had to talk about Adze again with their dad and asked about Populous!!

Hush S1:31&32

 Sule finally settles his hospital bill,he didn't know  Koko will offers Sule money to settle his bill.

Tokunbo Arin's ex (Nonso Odogwu)keeps disturbing her about and it's getting to her.Nse also visit Bem and invites him to a dinner date with her sister.
Koko does not mind waiting for Bem but he discouraged her from that thought, and warns her about speculation from staff(if only he knew Vina  knows)

Oye meets her sister lost in thought who refused to share her worries ,reminds her of not in support of her relationship with Ike.

Arin is so worried that she had to take the day off but refuse to reveal anything to Oye.Taju the thug is brought to the secetariat to identify the person that sent him to scatter Arin's town hall meeting but he obviously denied the person was not there.Tunde Baker Arin's campaign manger queries the exercise as Fola gets angry for being accused falsely .

Koko offers Sule money for "hospirul' bill but he told her he had paid his bill,He also doesn't like Vina being bossy at the office but Koko was quick to shut him up

Bem told Adze not to visit the House of Tsenogu again even after he told his father of the success of his App Loco,Bem warns him if he persist with his presence at the office,Vina will bear the brunt.

Ike finally informs his mum about his engagement to Koko,she talks tough and warns her on infidelity.

Tokunbo ask Arin for a large amount of money to keep quiet,she is disturbed and she had to go and see her father's lawyer who told her it will take a while before the assets in the will can be disposed.

Fola gets another knock when Bem told him he will not attack Arin or her team for confronting him as it is no threat to the club.

Vina's appearance at the business meeting saved Adze as he would have hurriedly signed the contracts and Fola was not going to talk to him alone.

New members are to be initiated into the club ,Billz was the first to be brought in the Adze!!(The look on Bem's face ehn,Bem 0 Fola 1.....ghenhenen)

Nayr had no choice but to tell it all to Gerson,he was really angry with his mother that he did not spend the night at home and coincidentally Carlos did not also spend the night in his house as Vanessa later revealed.
Joel and Djemila sure basking in love as they have been all over each other.

Deputy Walter who is always full of life in a sad mood as his wife Soraiya has been diagnosed with breast cancer and the cheerful Walter Nambe is down.

Nuno had to tell Bianca Djemila is his cousin after she found a customised phone case for her given to her by Greg ,Nuno explains Greg's blackmails and all.

Claudia gets a coaching offer in Mozambique and the a basketball match is played in her honor ,Gerson finally had a talk with Ivo and made his father realise no bad blood even though he is pained.

Maria also trying to make amends with Roberto and it seems the are making progress.

Ruth talks about missing Claudia at Yoga sessions and Nina suggest Kim to take over.

Bianca and Magharita meet up with a certain Mario to help them destroy Joel and they are going to use Djemila to get to him.Bianca wants it a secret between them and their husband should not be in the know.

Vanessa and her parents visit their in laws after Carlos broke the news to them.Bianca doesn't like the pity party

Joel also continues with his plans and he his sister got the news of how Soraia collects money to upgrade the grades of students at Santa Agnes.

Nayr doesn't like the idea of Gerson working for Joel,she had saved up for him and she gave her son the money so he can start his own courier business.

Hush S1 E 30

Ike propose to Koko and she had to look at Bem's face before she said Yes (imagine!) It seems Tess noticed this Sule  introduces the song 'you may kiss the bride muah '.Alabama and Ruffy trace Taju who caused commotion at Arinola's town hall meeting and they were able to rectify it at the party secetariat before the chieftains of the party.

Bem told Koko to take Arinola's measurements for the wedding gown ,Koko had to request Arin to strip partially for accuracy ,Bem later to take the measurements and Arin was so uncomfortable that Koko had to leave and she herself hurriedly left (She is feeling the 'boy' ee hehehehe abi what can make a full grown woman shake like that?Oga Bem you too mush )

Fola is really interested in Vina (Uncle Fola is that  why she is there?he is about to start a 'pemi loruko ko fa mi ni iru mu'...get intimately familiar abi that's the best i can translate vex not)

Sule is up to mischief and it does not seem funny

Oye gets Tess acquainted with how things are run politically as she took him along when they wanted to go and get Taju to confess and he blended well!

And the little boy that Ruffy and Alabama sent to investigate Taju acted very well!when he did the Ruffy salutation it was so on point!

Arin arrives at the fund raiser as Chief Lasisi told her she has been vindicated,Nse arrives with a man that leaves her step sister in shock...it seems the man is Arin's ex .

Jikulumessu:Investigating for love

Djemila invites Joel over for lunch at her place and he is delighted,he honours her invitation but when Kim broke the news of Marcus taking the fall for Bianca he is disorganised and Djemila notice it,she brings brings up the discussion about his Santa Agnes days and it gets him all worked up.he couldn't handle it anymore and stormed out on the love of his life.

Bianca tells Marcus the marketing manager she will only help him if she can take the fall for her that he doped Claudia and Erickson Leo,though he declined and packed his things,he was later seen on television taking the blame.

Ivo and Claudia in Dieji

Ivo and Claudia commence the basketball training for the young boys in Dieji and with Phillipe's help they got more people to participate.

Joel will not give up on revenge,he starts anther plan with his right hand woman Kim.

Djemila decide to investigate about Joel and starts with Greg who had sent her the new phone case he was about to start selling,he still tried to woo Djemila with his lies but she didnt fall.Her next stop was Vanessa but she stylishly refused to talk about it .

Gerson was attacked on his way to deliver Greg's package to his office and the bandits took away the delivery,all apologies to Greg fell on deaf ears as he went ahead to inform Gerson's boss who fired him.Carlos really pleaded too (we know why heheheehe) even Greg was surprised at his enthusiasm .

Nayr though Ivo had told Gerson about his other family not knowing they only discussed the sack.she spills and he is really angry with his mum

Djemila told Joel what she had been up to and pleads with him to open up but he refused,she needs him to trust her but if he cant she will take a walk from the relationship (see Joel shaking and pleading !!!)He is sure going to succumb to her plea,Djemila is the love of his life!!

Hush S1 E 28&29

Adze samples the cab driver's opinion about App Loco and he had positive things to say about the app,the convo stopped when Vina came .
Ike goes to Koko's house to look for her but was met by a hostile Oye.

Bem was able to get Koko come back to work after their intimate design with each other,Bem agrees to her bridal line and she will design Arinola's wedding gown,Koko  doesn't like it and shocked their sleeping with each other means nothing.

 Sule avoids the 'hospirul' as he cannot pay his bills.He went ahead to insult his neighbor who wanted a party on the arrival of his triplets.

Vina woke up bright and cheerful,Adze even thought she has been smoking 'something'  ( he doesn't know she caught Koko and his father doing 'it') and she was able to use her knowledge of it to make Koko dance to her tune .

E29

Arin moves to the office Bem offered her and prefers it to her former office.Meanwhile Nse returns the keys to the apartment and office she sealed,Arin sure knows that is not the last she heard of her stepsister.

Koko gives Sule money for his children and he is happy.Arin visits the House of Tsenogu  to see Bem,Vina tells her she is her number one fan and wanted to see her in private,this scares Koko.

Adze leaves to see Fola on financing his business but Uncle Fola seems more interested in Vina who accompanied Adze as his chief marketing officer.

Oye wants Tes and Adze to sign the non disclosure form and request for what they want,Tes informs her Adze wants nothing but he wants a spot on the campaign team.

Arin's suspension still stands so Chief Lasisi wants her to step down for Dehinde and be his deputy but she doesn't like that,she later makes it known to Oye she will be leaving the party.

Bem was about to fire Vina as he had discussed with Tess since her relationship with Adze makes him dependant on his money ,Koko was quick to put in glowing recommendations for her to Bem's surprise .

Ike propose to Koko!!

Jikulumessu:Carlos is on the hot seat!

Kim travels to trail Carlos and she was able to get something against him.he was with a fellow male and not a conference like he lied to his sister and family.Coincidentally Gerson was in the same town and place as Carlos....hmmmmm

Vanessa spying on her mum yielded nothing as all she had with Paulo was a working relationship.

Ivo finally confessed to Ruth about his affair with Nayr and that he also has a son with her.She is very angry and tells him it is over and just hanging around because of Jordao(Are you sure Ruth or it is because of the luxury)She visits Vanessa for a makeover and shopping spree,she came back looking fabulous and asks Bruno what he feels about her new look.

Djemila goes to visit Joel and the lovebirds conclude that even if Ruth is angry she is not ready to leave Ivo who was at her beck and core at the swimming pool side.

Nayr will not tell Gerson Ivo is dead after her conversation with Bruno and Weza ,She makes herself happy by inviting Clydee who is looking for an apartment to stay with them to her son's annoyance but she made it clear to Gerson that is her candidate for him as a wife.

Bianca wants Ericsson Leo sued at all cost and not buying Carlos story .

Greg wants the produce the phone cover Sara markets for Exclusiva which prompts him to request for Sara's number from Elena who is hopeful this might make her daughter return to Angola.

Lemba was able to video chat with Pedro as Lui connected them before they commenced their work chat.He is yet to be married just like Lemba.

Ivo is to join Claudia as  a basket ball coach on a project.

Bianca rendered no help to Marcus despite his plea so he decides to leave and spend sometime with his dying step mother.

HUSH S1 E :26&27

Oye suspects vendetta against Arinola. fingers pointing to FolaThe staff at House of Tsenogu discuss the fight between Bem and Ike  as they did not believe their boss could be physical ,Sule notes people like Bem have cover and should not be underestimated.Tesimi suggest they pay Koko a visit and they all agreed.Bem didn't allow them go with Koko's wedding gown she has been designing.

The staff visit Koko at her residence with cakes and ice cream and she is happy to see them ,Ike arrives and sends Tes out as he feels he came to gloat over him.They other members of staff leave later with Vina being the last to leave,Koko wants her to confess she owns the bad designs.

Tunde Baker wants Oye to get busy with things and do a damage control fast  after the fight carrying Chief Lasisi along ,he is still in the hospital as he got injured during the conflict.

Gerald's lawyer advise Arin not to sue Ntse but settle the matter amicably with Ntse.

Fola files a complaint against Arinola at the party headquarters and she is suspended.

Fola gets report on Adze's App Loco and he  after the survey he delegated to carry out on it,he is ready to invest in it and wants a contract drawn up.

Tes discuss Koko's exit with his father and he tells him not to bother as he will be starting the designs again from scratch meanwhile the staff also envisaged same.

Vina tells Adze is scared to face Bem ,Boobae advise her to quit her job and work for him .She immediately called the office that she is sick for starters.

Sule's wife falls into labour  .

Oye has to prove the thugs she brought did not start the fight or she will be off Arin's campaign team,she had to pay Ruffy a visit to help her mend the false allegations.
 Arin's interview with Tayo went well as Bem answered most of the questions Tayo fired leaving Tayo speechless,the make believe couple ended their departure with her kiss to give signals that their love is real when Bem noticed Tayo was watching.Arin now seems to be taken by Bem and she immediately called Oye to accept the use of the office space he suggested earlier.

Fola is confused after the interview,he doesn't know whose side Bem is .Ntse will not listen to what Arin has to say and did not accept any  white flag.

Koko will not go back to work even after her sister advised her to,she later went back at unofficial hours and she started 'intimate design' with Bem and Vina caught them unknown to her.

Movie Review:Mummy Dearest

Rose Chinda (Liz Benson Ameye) is a typical Nigerian mum that keep tab on their children even as adults.Her  only son Chijoke (Daniel K Daniel)avoids his mum's incessant calls till his colleague who would do anything to have a mother that will call him 24/7 lost his own mother,this touched his heart and decides to appreciate his mum decides to go spend some time with her .

Rose will not agree her son is a grown up as she is always worried about him making her have dangerous imaginations  ,she will call her other children to help her locate him and at some point even went to search for him herself.

The movie was nothing special but just xrays a mother's love for her children and how some can go over the top before they finally admit they are not dealing with babies.Some scenes are funny too and almost every adult can relate.

The goof:The Phone call from Mrs Chinda to her son when he was out with Boma(Wendy Elenwo),the voice in no way sounded very different from the other phone conversations she had been having.

The lead actors Rose and Chijoke did act their roles well.The kidnap scene of Mrs Chinda's also gave a suspense to the movie,the trance scene where her thoughts laid bare also nice.

Mummy dearest is just a simple movie and it's not a bad one to watch

The movie is produced  and  directed by   Chioma Willis Ikedum .

Movie Review :Entreat

Tunde (Micheal Asuelime) is in a relationship with Sharon (Funlola Aofiyebi-Raimi) who is his boss at work.On one of their outings Sharon pays the bill, a gesture Tunde is not pleased with as he feels she is trying to lord over him which prompts him to leave in anger in his old school 'jalopy' car (when i saw the car i just couldn't hold my laughter) .Tunde avoids Sharon's calls so she decides to pay him a surprise visit at home.She meets him with a lady and assumes that's the he's been acting up,angrily she begins to pack her things to leave his apartment till she stumbles on some papers which happens to be a private script Tunde has been working on and she commence reading.

The story within the story  talks about love,forgivenes and exposes the imperfect lives of friends and a couple and how they overcome .Micheal (Alexx Ekubo) is in love with Ayo Daniels (Dakore Egbuson) but a break in their relationship makes him find solace in the arms of another lady Rebecca (Izzie Otaigbe) who happens to be Ayo Daniel's friend and bore him a son.Charles(Byran Okwara) lost his wife during childbirth and became broken not only because of the loss but the pain his wife caused him but he later found love.Segun (Wole Ojo) and Onome (Lola Eremie) who pretend all is well with their relationship but they were not perfect.The funny Muyiwa(Ajibade Smart) who is a relationship with Ada(Eku Edewor) and Magaret (Osas Ighodaro) whose return to Nigeria reveals Ayo's skeleton in her cupboard.

Sharon enjoyed reading the script and felt Tunde should make into a movie and was willing to propose the idea to investors.


The connection of the story within a story was a bit confusing at some point as it seemed two different scenes were happening at the same time with what was shown on screen meanwhile it was still Sharon reading the story,The crying of Charles wife while in labour sounded distant from the scene,i expected more fireworks during  the confrontation between  Ayo and Rebecca but it dropped along the line.The investors meeting could have been better.

The poetry infusion by the character of Linda(Zainab Balogun) not bad as it gave the movie that artistic touch,Cinematography is on point!The poster is also one that one that can easily draw your attention to the movie,costuming good too.The soundtrack also nice!The story telling technique should also be applauded. .



The movie also has an inspirational/spiritual angle.

Entreat  is produced by Grace Edwin Okon and directed by Micheal Aseulime.

My rating for the movie  Good!

HUSH S1:E25

Fola engages Adze in a conversation and warned him not to return to the lodge.he also tells him to bring a proposal for his App Loco to see if it's worth his investments.

Ike's mum also got hold of Bem's engagement to Arinola and she discuss it with her son ,she feels the new form of proposal not nice and that of the olden days better but her son disagrees with her.She is not pleased Ike still seeing Koko and plan on proposing to her.

Bem shows up at Arin's office to discuss the contract,Arin is not pleased with this method but Oye feels Bem acting well .

Adze asks Tes if he knows anything about their father's club and tells him of his encounter when he visited.Tes warns his brother not to confront their father on such.

Sule tells Koko of his to be triplets and laments about finances.

Bem goes through the designs for the fashion week and was not pleased,he began to rant and insult Koko who noticed the designs in question was not done by her and was by Vina but she couldn't say a word.Ike who had come to propose to Koko couldn't stomach the insults and he had to reply Bem  and this lead to confrontations .Ike stormed out and requested Koko follow him which she did.

Arin's meeting also witnessed disorder when someone raised the question of Arin not being a Cardoso continuously and this led to a fight as Ruffy and Alabama attacked landing Alabama in the hospital.Oye suspects it's from Fola's camp and Alhaji Blow promise to investigate.

Vina informs Adze of the event at the office and that she is too scared to confess to Bem.

Ntse as evicted Arin from her office(Just like that?)

HUSH S1- E:23&24

Bem agrees to marry Arinola.Oye and Tunde Baker start to make plans  for the  proposal.
Adze's App is making progress and he is excited about it.
Bem informs Tesimi about his upcoming marriage proposal to Arin and makes him know it is strictly business and he should get Adze on board.

Once again Adze tries to sell his idea to his father but Bem Tsenogu not interested.

Ntse gives Arin Quit Notice on the property she is occupying.Benson the warden is promoted and Fola is not pleased but Bem makes him realise he has not done anything out of the constitution of the club.

Bem propose to Arinola!

Arin and Bem's proposal was able to cancel the news of Arin not being a Cardoso. Even Billz called to congratulate his friend Adze She(Arin) is not pleased Bem kissed her and she raised her voice at him but he warned her not to another time after she had finished ranting.

Ike asked Koko if she liked the kind of Bem's proposal but she did not and was not interested in the topic.

The House of Tsenogu staff congratulate their boss on his engagement and trust Sule to ceate comic ,he used the eyo masquerade greeting 'mo ye fun ee ' i rejoice with you saying.

Vina advise Adze to approach his father's friends at the club and he really did!He was sent out but when Fola arrived and he introduced himself,Fola seems interested in him.(Hmm what was Adze thinking and Vina madam lover+adviser well done oo)

Sule is having triplets and he cannot afford the bill given to him,initially he made a joke out of being a 'sharp shooter'.

Tayo wants an exclusive on Bem and Arin.Ntse informs Arin's ex about her engagement.

Jikulumessu:Ivo's Secret is out !!

Ivo refused to confess despite Djemila's ultimatum but finding out the truth about his double life came so easy.Jordao sustained injury while he went to play basketball and Nayr place was where he stayed till the doctor arrived.Gerson decided to offer Joel ice for Jordao and that is when he finally noticed his father' s picture and had to confirm who he was from Gerson,Celso corroborated this and Joel was shocked.
Meanwhile Djemila was waiting to reveal truth to Joel too,she later went back to Dieji and tolsd Joel while she had been avoiding him and what she knows about the Ivo and Nayr story.

Joel made sure his father jettisoned his absconding through the help of his uncle Bruno and feels his dad calling a family meeting to reveal his lies will help.

Nayr is now more determined to tell Gerson the truth but got more surprises when she found out at Joel's house Laura had been dead for fifteen years and Ivo did not tell her!Ruth feels something is up especially after Nayr fainted on hearing the death of Laura.

Vanessa suspects her mother is having an affair with Paulo and she decides to play detective on the matter.

Williams wants to recruit a new student into their prostitution ring.

Carlos is going to a weekend getaway and it is the same place Gerson mentioned for his getaway to his mum (I feel these guys are gays ......just like Windeck we will only conclude and not see 'anything')

Nayr needs Joel to help her with Gerson but he would not follow her method as she wants to shut Ivo out of their lives and not meet his siblings.

Kim is going to travel to the same place Carlos is going to get info about him after Vanessa spilled about her husband's movement to her as they need an ace since he will be handling the Ericcson Leo case on behalf of Bsports.

Jikulumessu:Payback time for Bianca

Vanessa goes to the lunch date with Ruth Kapala .Nuno swings into action immediately as he starts t ransack Joel's office he was almost caught but he sure got something to show his boss Bianca.She got the information  that Silva is back and it really destabilised her.

Claudia grants a press conference on her pet project and used that opportunity to talk about Ericsson Leo's doping scandal by resurrecting her own story and blaming it on Bianca and had the video confession of Silva the Masseuse Bianca used to corroborate her story.

Ivo refused to accompany Jordao to Dieji for the basketball tournament but Joel eventually did.


Djemila is going to tell Joel what she knows ,Ivo tried so hard not to make her reveal but she will not bulge.

Soraia's mind is made up on her vacation and not all the excuses of  Walter and her ill health is stopping her mini vacation.,she also warned Magharita about her job resumption else the whole world will know their shady deals.

Phillipe is star of the tournament at Dieji as Claudia and Joel intimate him of their plan and he is delighted to be on their project.

Bianca wants Carlos as the company lawyer  to do everything he can to clear Bsports name from the scandal .

Jordao sustains injury while playing basketball and he is taken to Nayr's place to wait for the doctor,Nayr is shocked when she hears Jordao is Joel's younger brother!

HUSH S1 -E21&22(Recap)

Ntse is not pleased with the last will and testament of her father and she starts to insult the Arin .Bem is happy Tes is warming up to the family business ,he asks his son if he had met with Koko before their meeting at House of Tsenogu but he was kind of evasive,he later asked Koko as well who denied .
Vina queries Tess motive on her boo bae Adze and told him she's watching ( lover 'loffa' girl)

Tunde Baker the new campaign manager for Arin got the news of Arin's paternity while he was eavesdropping on her conversation with Oye.

Adze not pleased Vina went to confront Tess,the lovers quarrel and Adze storms out of the room.

Bem Tsenogu is new head servant!Fola is not pleased

Adze and Vina make up The members of the club congratulate their name headservant Bem.

Benson the warden gave his reason why he let Bem emerge as headservant as he had a strong feeling Bem was aware of their motive.

Tess continues to hit on Koko even after he saw Ike drop her off.

It seems Arin has a dirty past as Ntse cannot stop talking about it.

Bem assures Fola of his support as they discuss Gerald's secret of Arin being his daughter.

Chief Lasisi insist Arin must get married and things had to go faster after the news that Arinola is not a Cardoso went viral  courtesy of Ntse and Tayo,She had to go and speak to Bem on the contract marriage Oye proposed earlier  though he did not give her any answer initially he later gave her a nod in her office.

Ike's mum had a dream about Koko in a snake form and trying to kill him and he believed her and lied about his state of health to avoid picking her to work(But Ike sha is such a omo mummy)Koko later visited to see Ike and she was confused at what his mum had to say ,Koko also  dropped some gifts for her 'Mother in law ' to be .

Bem sent Adze out of the office.

Oye makes Ruffy know she is no more Arin's campaign manager.

Vina has become Adze's adviser and she adviced him to let go of the App to the people that were interested in it even though Billz is yet to be informed.

Tes is settling down well at House of Tsenogu and even had time to chat with the French speaking tailor by engaging him in French and just like most people what they remember is the little they learnt back in primary school but Sule gave us his own version saying 'Ske Ske Ojodu' Sule!!Just sing ske ske robo ske all because who want to 'parle en francais  heheheehe.

Gerald's daughter Ntse showed up at the reading of the will though late,she was shocked when the second half off her father's estate was given to Arinola and she was tagged his biological daughter!!!
