Movie Review:North East

Musa (Gbenga Titiloye) and Ijeoma (Carol King) are involved in a relationship and both have children,Hadiza(Ini-Dima Okojie) and Emeka (OC Ukeje) unknown to the single parents are also dating ,this revelation came to the  fore when Hadiza came visiting at Ijeoma' s house.Musa is not happy with the relationship and  one of his major reasons is based on ethnicity forgetting he is also seeing someone not from his tribe

The movie is a simple one nothing special  or extraordinary,it shows that love can conquer all.The soundtrack was also nice. The actors also interpreted their roles well.

What I didn't like about the movie: Hmm Some of the characters didn't add value to the movie ,this can be said of Funky Mallam's role. I would have also loved to see Emeka work as a physiotherapist rather than portraying him more as a dance instructor. The lady that disturbed Emeka was annoying just like she was to Hadiza in the film. The Production quality is also just there.

North East is just a feel good movie I'll rate it Okay

The movie is directed by Muyiwa Aluko
