MIPCOM 2015 begins today

MIPCOM (Marche Internationale de Programmes Communication)International Market of Communication Programme commenced today in Cannes,Nice, France.The Programme is owned and organised by Reed MIDEM.The event will span 4 days.
The event is geared towards the television  industry,primarily attended by representatives of television studios and broadcasters  who use the event as a market place to buy and sell new content,programmes etc for international distribution.
New trends and developments , keynotes presentations and panels by representatives of the industry are also part of the event.
MIPCOM was the platform that brought internationally known company Disney and Nigeria's EbonylifeTV together to bring Desperate Housewives Africa.
A deal was signed with MTN to provide converged services.Some of the Nigerian representative include  Director General National Broadcasting Commission Mr Emeka Mba,CEO EbonylifeTv Mo Abudu.Eugenia Abu Executive Director of Programs NTA  etc
