Captain Joseph Dewa (Ramsey Nouah)returns from and settles back in the barracks .He has a pregnant wife Suzy(Rita Dominic) and they love each other dearly despite coming from different ethnic group ,their love is also put to test severally but they eventually overcome.Captain Dewa faces betrayal from his friend Gomos (Chidi Mokeme) .
The movie was able to take a military coup story and lace it with a interesting love story.It also painted a picture of how life was in '76 through the costumes,music etc used in the movie.The movie keeps the suspense till the last minutes of the movie which is a very good one!
The music at some point in the background overshadows the conversation in some scenes.
'76 is a movie that will keep you glued from the beginning to the end,it takes you back in time to the way of life in that year and this is done very well!The acting was very well played,Kudos to the main acts Captain Dewa and his Wife Suzy,they interpreted the role effortlessly.Other cast did well too
The movie is brilliant on all sides and you will surely enjoy every bit of it!
