Ijewode  dishes out duties to her children,Ejeh is on his bed not feeling well but his mother will not have it ,she assigns his duties to him  and blames his illness on his forest voyage.The palace guard show up and inform her she is wanted at the palace to attend to the  crown prince.

Gen Apeh suggest to his wife that Oofuni come but she declines,Ijewode arrives and discovers Enayi sick too as she is vomiting.

Alechenu and Elekache sit by the river,the former brings out the object(mirror) he got from the strange man and shows Elekache who is surprised he still had it.

The Leftovers surrounded and were about to be taken captive but they were able to defend themselves and move on.

Oofuni's maid tells her about the health status of the Prince but she will not do anything since she has not been called,Gen Apeh visits her and she was able to let him know she knows about the illness as he had treated it before,she also ask to be in the king's presence where she shed more light on it,she ask that nobody comes into palace.When General Apeh left Oofuni requested to have a word with the king but he will not listen to her ,all he wants to open is to cure the sickness,all her attempt to get his special attention failed.

Obeyi goes to Ijewode's home ,Epeh's case getting worse and it seems Alechenu about to join the queue
