The night opens on a sad note as we see some people burying the dead from the poisoning that happened on the day of Abor memorial feast.

Queen Ochanya goes to see Queen Oganya,the latter tells her fellow queen she is innocent of the charges levelled against her ,the senior reminded her how she warned her about her confrontations  and other unruly behaviour.

Adoga and Agbenu have started to work on their  marriage ,Obute ws by the corner to distract Agbenu and even made contact with her later when she left the market but she made it known to him she  will rather stick with her husband .

Onyeje  feling uncomfortable and  her mistress Oofuni noticed it,they discuss the events that led to the poisoning ,Oofuni realised her maid trying to pass a message across but Onyeje quickly adjusted herself.

King Odaleko gives Akajo assignment to find out about Alechenu's intoxication.

Alechenu meet with Elekache who acted weird as usual.

Elekache hands her father his divination bag ,General Apeh  meets her and taunts the Akpa maiden on her status  and tells he is always available as a father figure

Onnah consults the oracle on Ogannya's situation,the people assemble as the verdict delivered,Queen Ogannya is banished from Ocholuje.she wails as she sets eyes on her twins for the last time.
