Ejo wewe 1

Hmm.I know i like talking and i remember my grandma always telling me "ejowewe ee ti poju" (you talk too much) but over the years being a mum ,wife, life events  changed the 'parochaine' parrot  in me.i do a lot of ferme la bouche(shut up your mouth) now .
My blog......it all started with little confidence ,i asked myself if this is what i want to do after going through hectic years in Lagos State University Faculty of Law ,then landed in Law school Lagos campus(No time for playing or sme sme there though sometimes i(we) complained of the stress when our other colleagues told us their schedule but after everything I loved the fact that I attended Law School Lagos. And to myself and all my colleague that  will be called to bar come October i say CONGRATULATIONS!GOD that has brought us thus far will see us till that day and beyond.Amen.
Nollywood Nollywood.....I have been a fan of this industry since i was a child, one of the early series i watched and understood was 'Fortunes' ,' Winds of Destiny',After the storm' 'Checkmate' ,'Willy Willy',Things fall apart' 'The scary 'Agbara nla' that had Ayamataganga and aro meta  all being showed on Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).(All had interresting soundtrack)Then the Mexican soaps added spice to the Tv experience from 'Wild Rose'  No one but you','The Rich Also Cry',Lady of the Rose'etc ' Isaura the slave the girl,''Roots'(The last two not Mexican) ..Then AIT(if i remember correctly) brought us 'Passions' ,'The Gardener's daughter',Catalina and Sebstain' 'Second Chance' etc  which i think was the last i really sat down watch for foreign series.I remember the late Prof Dora Akunyili who shifted the showing of foreign series to later as this helped local content develop a lot.
Then the new set of series came in  Candle light,Paradise pack,Domino.Paradise Pack,Family Circle and yes the evergreen Papa Ajasco,Superstory (Oh Father,Oh Daughter,One Bad Apple etc)
Then the Movies Violated,Nneka the Pretty Serpent,Ti Oluwa nile,Koto Orun  so many i cannot remember now.
It's really good to see that we have improved in terms of production, creativity etc but we are not there yet!(some refuse to grow, some are trying ,some are now world class, while some are dragging us back) But like i tell people appreciate Nollywood for what they satnd for ,telling the African/Nigerian story  fom our own perspective though some might not be done very well.
Then it became better with the advent of  Africamagic and of recent Ebonylife Tv .There are other stations too that show series and Nollywood/African cinema but these two are in the fore front for now.(I know Dstv is always increasing tariff bla bla i complain too but ehn......)
One of Dstv/Africamagic hit series was TINSEL but if you ask me now it's no more rocking at all but I still watch  ,yes it been on for about 7 years now but 'e get as e be now' hopefully the writers will give us the spark we were getting before ..However credit must be given to them so many fresh talents  and many more as come out from that production and they set the standard for Soap Opera in this new age.
You see iyaff talked on orisirisi(i have talked a lot)
What i want to see from Nollywood or any of the television stations is a purely African /Nigerian cartoon Network with our own local stories from the tribes fiction or otherwise.I am not happy seeing the BEN10s,Dora,Total Spies,Ninja Turtles,Danny Phantom etc(They are all nice cartoons but i just feel if we can sell our movies to the world ,our own local cartoon is a possibility)Indomitables,Kaali and Tewa are steps in the right direction.
Recently i decided to travel to India via Zee world ,Immediately i fell in love with DESTINY and BREAKING FREE,because i started watching just this month i had to consult the knower of all info on planet earth(Google)and i read landlord Vikram will marry Sugni at the end!Chai !BREAKING FREE will break my heart but i will love to see how the event will unfold but like i have been reading the ending is just to bring us back to reality like someone said on one of the forums i visited who is indian that a Bedni (Hope i got the spelling correct)will always be a Bedni in India.I hope DESTINY will end better.(fairy tale ending partially or fully).

And that is my ejowewe for today...a tun ma saroye(we'll gist again)
ODARO,KI OLORUN JI WA RE(Goodnight and GOD keep us )
