Oofuni was able to convince Obe to help her to access the General,she gave him something that will make girls never say no to him,he must do his part as well.

King Odaleko was able to get away from the attack from whatever quarters it came from,he is indebted to Ashes who he believes saved his life ,this 'good gesture' made the king give him a proper name by naming him Achelenu.Apeh  does not in any way share his brothers sentiments that Achelenu saved him.Apeh also told his brother about the Abor survivors and how the soldier who went looking for them never returned.

Ene was able to get the full version of the Alekwu story from her father,she tells her father she might just be the heir to his throne.

Oofunmi and Obeyi go on their assignment,they met Akajo who was entering his hut but said nothing to him,while Obeyi was scared,her friend is relaxed.

The Elders discuss the heir to the throne and suggest Apeh's son be adopted since King Odaleko has no son,the last of the matter has not been heard.

Ochanya brings the baby girl for naming but the king has no name yet,he seems not concerned ,Alechenu on his mind.

Apeh continues with his scheming with his right hand man in the army (Bolum).He is sure his son will be the heir to the throne.
