Movie Review:Omoge Shoki

The movie is produced by Jumoke Emmanuel. It is majorly  about three ladies  Sexy(Fathia Balogun),Beauty(Bukky Wright) and Doro(Jumoke Ikudayisi). They engage in 'runs' prostitution and also do shady jobs as observed in their conversation with Lawyer Kunle. They are more convinced with what they see but had to change their thoughts when a short man introduced by their pimp they called Woswobi (translated in English as hey look here  and i hope i tried before i get knocks too)turned out to be the highest spender at a party the ladies hosted.
There is also a religious Muslim family who later lost the woman of the house.(This is where the story really started making sense to me,the previous scenes were just not working but i found it funny and could relate)
Lawyer Kunle wants the girls to help him kill Alhaji with Doro disguising as a muslim faithful who claimed to be in the same fellowship(assalatu) with him and admires his ways of fulfilling his religious obligations according to Islam to penetrate Alhaji's home.
I don't know which law school lawyer Kunle went that he believes once Alhaji dies he can inherit his property just like that  when there are laws that will apply both common law and Islamic law that he believes the death of Alhaji will qualify him as beneficiary. And the character Eze ego of Umahia the appropriate  thing to say is Nigerian hotel NOT Nigerians hotel ejoor a m shey iru e mo (please don't do that again unless it was deliberate)
The character sexy did justice to her role just like beauty but the latter wasn't as vocal like the former.Doro also tried.
All in all the film is Okay and  i like most Yoruba movies  even if  there is no wow factor there will be a moral lesson the movie will teach us at the end  and that we will have to wait till Part 2.
